I love the 1980s POP/ROCK feeling that this song has! I'm also a long time Hanson fan, so I'm glad that they're back again!
As a theatre artist, I appreciate the story/character concept over the "spectacle".

The lyrics really suit the power pop guitar driven genre of this song! I mean thats what I love about Hanson is that they put alot of thought into their music and it was never about selling out.

Awe Zac what you said about your goal as a band to tell stories, this is my goal too. I knew that there’s a reason your band came into my life. I was 14, and my best friend had her room walls covered top to bottom. All I remember is I couldn’t stop listening to Yearbook. And you played it live yesterday at Cains. It was like going back in time. And a funny thing, my room had brick wall paper, just like at this awesome place. I’m just so grateful that the Lord made so many of my dreams a reality. I prayed so hard that you stay true to who you guys are, regardless of the music industry shifts. Appreciate your high morals and that you are a family oriented band bringing light into so many lives 🎵 In todays world children are exposed to so much unnecessary dirt via entertainment. You keep it clean and so inspiring too 👏👏👏

I really like how Zac explained the Against The World concept here, it makes sense... even though I already knew why they were doing it this way, I haven't watched any livestreams or members nightcaps recently so I suppose this is the first real thorough explanation I've heard and I appreciate it. I was unimpressed/slightly disappointed with Annalie being the debut song... it's been 8 years witnout a new album and I just don't know what I was expecting but Annalie wasn't it? Not that it's not good, I love Zac leads- I just wish he'd lend his incredible vocal talents to a more rocky/edgy sound (ie his cover of Oh Darlin). That said, I am really loving Don't Ever Change. I am lucky enough to be going to their June 26th show in Virginia and I can't wait!

I did not like it in real life. I did not hit dislike in here, though. I am not lazy, no need to be jealous, for sure.
I have been a huge fan forever and have supported the band ever since the beginning, both emotional and financially.
I just don’t think this is up to par, compared to what they could have done, compared to other artists’ great efforts.
All Hanson fans really need is more brain. We need to let them know we can discerne good from bad. For as long as we keep telling them the less than ok stuff is great and ready to be loved, we will continue getting… well, this.
