@@zavtparticles6828 Yes, yes it does. And thats not what I said. The quality of the voice acting is way lower, it has less punch, and it overall just worse.
I don't think plan A would fail, just because he would be transitioning to Christian content. He would just have to do the same exceptional production / editing, and viewers would still watch. Most of the decline was due to the poor reputation, but he's always made stellar content.
Unless he kept the videos from turning into a sermon or if the topics were REALLY interesting, the change would have likely caused a decent drop in viewership. Maybe not enough to end the channel, but enough to impact it. Of course, since he would have essentially STILL lied to viewers who financially supported him in Path A, only to RADICALLY change content, the channel's rep would have still taken a major hit.

Dude would have literally tried to force religion on a bunch of gamers and nerds. Honestly, his voice was iconic, but I am disgusted by his lies.
that first sentence you siad correlates to you too bro. your editing amazes me.
i’m really glad Disrupt turned out to be awful because right when they blew up I knew they were off. All their shit was just reading other people’s work and were super shallow, I just knew they were off
holy moly i remeber when u commented on one of my videos like 2 years ago youre HUGE NOW!!!! congrats
i cant believe i used to respect and watch them, every video in its entirety
It wasn't "they" who tried pulling this, it was jak
the rest of the disrupt squad is trying, pessimistic folks like you ain't helping
@@zavtparticles6828 and blindly optimistic people like you aren't helping either.
bro with this quality im surprised you have 61.8k your insanely underrated my guy
I guess you could say their scam got disrupted. I'm not sorry.
I remember seeing the disrupt campaign video when it first came out and thinking, "this looks like a scam"
You always bring banger content to the table and always have me on the edge of my seat. Thank you for what you do for the community.
I remember watching that first announcement video and thinking. "Ohhhh boy..."
disrupt was one of the greatest scams on youtube. its sad to see that that a transition of content can lead to a downfall of a youtube channel.
also how did you make this in 2 weeks
I remember that i had interviewed Jak like a year before the drama! He was a really nice guy to speak to, sad what greed can do to a man,
Disrupt is one of the best channels on UA-cam it's a shame what jak did
the moment of the "i am selling this channel" video, i knew something was up. but i certainly didnt expect... this.
This is why you understand what and why you are giving money to somewhere before you do it. You can't use blind trust alone in a capitalist environment. Or any environment dealing with money.
Yeah the service needs to be provided before the money flows
religion really does ruin everything doesn't it
"high quality editing, top notch narration, and a creative style like no other", i thought he was talking about himself
LMAO
im sorry that this isnt about the video but I got unresably happy when I heard "what we did in the desert" by eitiesheadachetape playing from 1:25 to 2:15
This is an impressively concise breakdown. Thank you for making this story accessible!
wtf did he need a $500,000 initial investment for in the first place? Unless he immediately went out of his way to buy a whole professional team for a brand new YT channel I don't understand where that money could have gone
They outline in the video that the money was to pay back a loan presumably to Jordan who was co-owner of the channel.
Absolutely amazing man, I absolutely love the content you've been producing! I've noticed the Disrupt FL STUDIO voice plugin in your videos before and seeing it come full circle that you were also once a lover of the channel was super cool. The content is amazing though, and honestly I could see you becoming the newer (AND MUCH BETTER) disrupt.
(I also smell a hint of j aubrey)
Yikes, I used to be subscribed to them and I'm just imagining if I had invested money to see them continue only for them to turn into a channel promoting a religion that hates my entire existence... What a nightmare.
YESS i love that you're going outside the minecraft niche, i will be seated to watch any video u make 🤞 the quality is insane
Its really a shame the channel couldnt recover.
Probably due to three major factors
1 : The voice work was TERRIBLE after the former owner was forced to leave.
2 : The entire scandal against them kinda tarnished their reputation, though it could've been recovered.
3: The lack of consistent uploads, and just general lower quality content.
phat disagree on point 1
@@zavtparticles6828 Compare new voice work, to old voice work. Its very night and day, its pretty bad. It turned me away from watching Disrupt.
@@Triro different doesn't equal bad.
@@zavtparticles6828 Yes, yes it does.
And thats not what I said.
The quality of the voice acting is way lower, it has less punch, and it overall just worse.
@@Triro ok dawg then you do it
i hope im not the only one who is amazed by how a small bedwars youtuber started making bangers? such an amazing growth 🔥
I can clearly see the difference in the video after Jak left. He's literally "the voice" of Disrupt. The channel never feel the same after that event
awesome work caleb
Redeemed Zoomer blew up out of nowhere with Christian content. He grew his channel from scratch, who's to say that Disrupt couldn't rebuild a bigger audience? When plenty of people did it before.@@seki108
a notification from caleb this about to be crazy
video is so high quality but the music kept giving me whiplash cause it went from eightiesheadachetape to kendrick lamar to silent hill 2 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Segueing "PRIDE" into "Heaven's Night" was awesome
That wouldve been cook to see dirupt grow into a magazine
