Punishingly slow for the opponents. I understand the thought going into plays but there are times where you are done your turn but read comments while you run the clock out. I just don’t understand this. Regardless, I love the game and I still love your commentary so I still give all your videos a thumbs up.
Awesome game, amazing that green snuck it. I think you worried about hiding your road building intentions for too long. Everyone was too close to winning when you chose to build the settlement rather than connecting. Once you are at 9 building a city or settlement for the last point is easier than 3 or 4 roads right?
Really you gotta play faster man. Great vid nonetheless Edit: 24:35 why didn't you accept that one? You could've cut purple of guaranteed with that (barring a 7) Edit 2: also yeah I've found the timer to be bugged sometimes as well
If you’d had taken road by connecting instead of building the settlement at the end, you’d have given yourself a much better chance of winning on your next turn. As it went, you would have won on that next turn! Do you have two screens? If not, you should - one for the game and one for the comments.
Why feel that this is a silly game in the eyes of your coworkers? It is modern day brain gymnastics to see patterns in a chaos a possible paths whilst remembering the stable patterns. Dude, no shame, only bubble perhaps. I enjoy watching you play this game instead of playing it. I'm a senior dev, have no problem with my coworkers finding that out
33:05 that didnt feel like a good trade, especially since a) your ore is blocked, b) 1 for 1 doesnt do anything for your card count (7).if you try a 2 for 1 Ore trade if someone might have done that before they saw you take wheat from Red..... or even if you just hold the 7 cards ... on the next round a --> 11 gives you a city, 12 gives you a city, 6 gives you a city, 10 gives you a city, 2x5 gives you a city ... i think you missed a trick there
The number tiles have dots beneath them that represent the frequency that number will be rolled (e.g. 6 and 8 have 5 dots under each representing a 5/36th probability of rolling that number). If you add up all the dots of an intersection, that is the productive value of that intersection. For example a 5/8/10, would be worth 12 points. 5 = 4 dots, 8 = 5 dots, 10 = 3 dots. 12 dots = 12/36 cards per turn, or 1 card every 3 turns. If you upgrade that intersection to a city, you would get 2 cards every 3 turns. I recommend memorizing the dots of each number to quickly recognize the best producing spots on the board. It also helps when you play craps!
Game begins at 1:00
Such a tense game towards the end. Anyone could have won at any turn! Very enjoyable to watch
My biggest inspiration!

Thank you and fair point. I missed many of the comments, and I was trying to catch up where I could. I'll need to strike the right balance...
Keep them coming :)
Thanks, will do!

Solid game, I honestly thought you had no chance, but purple got extremely unlucky
Thanks. I didn't think I had a chance either!
Another upload so soon! Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much, this was fun (challenging)!
Love the vids man, you have helped me become a better player
Thank you sir, I'm glad!
Wow, that was close!
Yeah, some slight edge decisions might've made a difference...
You should try and have a set time that you live stream
Totally agree. I need to get better at live streaming... and I'll try a few different times/days and see what works best for folks?

Yep, I need to think/talk/act faster! I was afraid of Purple doing a 4:1 and building a settlement. Timer definitely buggy.

I wish the stream was 2 hours earlier.
Thanks - I'll try a few different days/times and see what works best for folks (and me)!
Wow, JC Denton at Catan :) what a jackass
56:15 why not build a road between the 3 and the 9?
Good game
It was a close one!
hi neonate! where can I find a list of all of your rules?
Hi there! Take a look at the description for one of my newer videos for the latest draft!

What makes a spot worth 12 points?
The number tiles have dots beneath them that represent the frequency that number will be rolled (e.g. 6 and 8 have 5 dots under each representing a 5/36th probability of rolling that number). seeing your timer run out low key tilts me...
