Message for Nell. Please pass this to her: Oh Nell, this is wonderful. You were always both a child and an adult when we were girls, and you are now. I remember when you rode over to my house with a champagne bucket full of flowers from your mother's garden for my mum who had flu. You didn't even bother changing before you came over. You were still in your school uniform, with your skirt hitched up, and no hat. I totally understand the pain of losing people and of divorce, and of long term illness. If you ever want to talk, I'm here. You're remarkable. And you're remarkably resilient. And so loved and appreciated.
I have just watched this totally awe inspiring video. As a breast cancer survivor 2 years in remission I could totally identify with everything Nell was saying. The video inspired me but I also found it very emotional, probably because we had the word cancer in common with each other’s well as guilt of divorce for my child. Life does take on a new meaning. Like myself, I loved Nells positivity and hunger for life. What an amazing motivator and inspiring lady. Gifford is NELL and she lives on.
An amazing artist, rider, performer, creator and wonderful mother .. thank you for making the world a brighter more colourful place .. may your spirit live on in Giffords Circus family ..
Nell, the most wonderful persona, loving and caring for the entire crew members of circus including animals. So much fascinated in her work, detailing, designing, coaching , training, to ensure that every show must be flawless, and the audience must be entertained with lot of curiosity, full of joy and bringing happiness. We truly miss Nell, her contribution to the success of Gifford's circus is truly worth admiring, none can fill this gap, most beautiful person. Worth listening to 'Behind the Curtain', there is so much to learn from Nell.
Such testament to her incredible creativity , zest for life and passion for what she believes in - her family - her circus - her community . We can certainly all learn from that . Incredible Nell
