I've had the pleasure of seeing them live 2 years ago...they've played in a small metal club in Slovakia, for an audience not bigger than 50 people. That's metal, playing for the people, to spread their message...not for money, but for the music itself. Thank you for this interview, can't wait for Heretics.
l was never into Gothic metal or dark metal but I discovered RC a few months ago now I'm in love with their music, especially the Heretics album.Thank you man, for your music..the vibes are so cool... I'm loving it!!!
Rotting Christ Guitar Covers - hey man!! First off let me just say I was super sorry that I couldn’t upload a video of the listening session man. I would have loved to but life got in the way as it does! Anyway I just wanted to say thank you so much for watching this video and with you being such an avid fan it means the world that this interested you. :) Sakis is a lovely man and incredibly insightful. Can’t wait to see a guitar cover from The Heretics man!! Give me a shout when it’s live! Thanks again for the kind words man
@@TheMetalTris Thank you for your answer your words is my honor. Of course i will tell you when we make a cover from "The Heretics". Keep up the good work and keep the Metal Spirit Alive.
@@RottingChristTributeOriginal Hey , would it be possible to help me with finding some rotting christ tabs? Im trying to learn everything from them , i even bought a 7 string guitar just for their songs.
@@-TNT47- Hello there. Honestly i never played RC with tabs because almost all of them have mistakes, all our covers are by ear. For the 7 string guitar watch my Phobo's Synagogue cover which is played on that guitar. I suggest you to watch propably all our covers with pauses and slow motion to 'copy' your self how they are played. But there are tabs out there if you google for it.
Μανώλης Μπουλάματης Hahahahaha oh man that made me burst out loud laughing! He really is a reason to carry on believing eh? Incredibly charismatic as well not to mention! Thanks so much for watching the interview, I hope that you enjoyed the video? What did you think of Rituals my friend?
@@TheMetalTris I thought Rituals was one of the band's best offerings! Started watching your channel thanks to the Behemoth review, and I gotta say, your videos are criminally underwatched!

No reason to give up on your country ever my friend. The ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD lives one way or another on the shoulders of ideals and principles spawned from mother Hellas. Long live your country and Sakis particularly! Great interview, so thrilled for the new album.. I myself have interviewed Sakis a couple times and he is THE dude: honest, humble and uncompromising.
C'mon old man, what the fuck are you saying ?! That moment only shows what a huge and humble Legend Sakis is !!! They don't have to turn the world upside down and prove anything toanyone. They are LEGENDS and wonderful Artists and open-minded humans! Hail Rotting Christ !!! Hail Freedom!!!
Hey my friend, thank you for this amazing interview! Finally someone who digs a bit deeper after giving an answer, and who does not ask all standard questions. I agree with you, Sakis is an incredible nice, insighful guy, as are the other members. Try to see them live, it is always an amazing show, incredible energetic.
It’s so cool Sakis could care less if he is losing hair. Let it fall out and get gray. (Nothing worse than old metalheads with hair transplants and dye jobs.) Sakis you are an inspiration. Non serviam guys!
Fantastic interview as always. Rotting Christ is by far one of the most original and diverse bands in the scene right now. It's very hard to find a lot of bands that can use ritual drumming patterns, then go into a black metal section while singing in Arabic with a choir backing them up, all in one song. Another band that I can think of that has that much willingness and bravery is Sigh.
metalmatt Hey Matt! Well thank you so much for the kind words once again man! I hope that you’re doing well over at Willowtip? They really are man, I love the way that melody and the solos are used in the music. It makes it so transcendental when you listen to it. I’m sure that you’ll absolutely LOVE The Heretics when it comes out man. Absolutely sensational and when you put it like that, there’s so much going on in one single song!! How mad haha! Hope you’re good man?
@@TheMetalTris Yeah man everything is going well for me and over at Willowtip as well. We're gearing up for some releases early next year, stuff that I can't reveal just yet but if you love extreme music it is exciting. That is the beauty of Rotting Christ: melody, darkness, and diversity. And yes I would highly recommend Sigh, they are a fantastic avant-garde black metal band from Japan whose music is highly experimental and sinister sounding in a lot of different ways. Their new album is absolutely amazing and if you want to listen to their music I'd highly recommend the new album "Heir to Despair", "Imaginary Sonicscape", "Gallows Gallery", and many others. I must warn you though that it is very hard music to get into, it will definitely require more than one listen for their albums.
Great interview! Rotting Christ has been one of my favorite metal bands for years (and the only metal band I'm collecting rare stuff from) and I hope the next album will be awesome (I was quite disapointed by the previous one... But well, not every album can be amazing after 30 years).
I believe that "Rituals" was a small disappointment because it came out right after their best album "Κατά Τον Δαίμονα Εαυτού". Otherwise, on its own, it is actually a good, solid album, with especially 2-3 songs being real gems.
