I have just swapped mine out ( M Sport 650) and definitely easier without removing steering wheel but take care disconnecting the blue connectors. Mine were really tight and needed patience. Also, I struggled with the airbag springs. You made it look so very easy.

The stock shifter mechanism has so much flex in it, really looking forward to the metal construction. I have heard of people pulling a rubber film on magnet to soften the click FYI
Just ordered these for my 09 135. My transmission’s tuned, so it rev matches on down shifts & shifts just as fast as a DCT! These make gear changes even faster & the billet construction is unbelievable ! That’s why I paid $450 for them. The construction & even faster shifts. I could care less about clicking noises? Car makes 627 RWHP & only has 44k original miles…👌🏻💯🏁
Definitely worth the money! If the market was there for when I had my old 335i I 100% would’ve done it before too! Definitely a big change it’ll make driving the car feel way better!
