Thank you! I am currently working on more constraint videos that cover motion constraints, transitional constraints, and constraint set options. I am super excited to share these with the community!
You sir are awesome! I appreciate all your videos and I have learned a lot from you. I am now gaining a stronger foundation on using Inventor. I do have a question. When should we use joint and when should we use constraints? I do think they are similar in some ways and I want to know your perspective on this.
another great and in depth video. I love the keyboard shortcuts. Is there a way to select the type of entity you want to select for the constraint without having to necessarily point and click on said entity? For example I will use AutoCADs workflow. I can activate the move command, select geometry, [enter], then right click and I will have a list of the different types of object I can select with my mouse OR I can type a keyboard hotkey for said object snap (m=midpoint, m2p=snap between two points, e=endpoint, etc). Once, I select the object snap entity, I hover my mouse over any area of that object and it'll snap to whatever entity I chose on that object. So for your example, instead of clicking the face and dragging away, you could right click and select "face" and then hover by that face and you will know it is only going to select the face...not accidentally grab an edge etc.
Under the "productivity" section, you can hit that arrow (next to "create derived subdivision") and select ground. Then just ground the part at the origin.
Thank you for reaching out! I am working on finding a storage solution for file sharing. I pulled the CAD files for the aluminum profile, hinges, and hardware from McMaster-Carr's website. I appreciate your question/suggestion and will be incorporating file sharing in the future. Thank you so much for watching! Cheers!
@@engineeringapplied If you have time please add the link to the parts. Then if somebody would like to have the same part they could download the part.
Hands down, one of THE BEST tutorials EVER on any given topic. Hats off sir, hats off.
This is the best tutorial on Inventor assembly constraints.
Basic and fundamentals of constrain using in Assembly, are clear after watching this video. 🙆🏻♂️
Great video! I finally can assemble parts the way I want them to be!
I'll watch this later but I'll give it thumb up in advance; I know it is another high quality video as always. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much for your support! I appreciate you taking the time to learn with my videos, it means a lot!
Another great video. Keep up the good work!
Great presentation!
Extraordinario!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once again ! awesome video, appreciate the efforts put into the Video, waiting for more :) Thanks again

@@engineeringapplied appreciate it so much and yes waiting for the other video co strainers ♥️
Very well presented and explained!! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent tutorial
Thank you so much, very informative and clear

This video really helped. Big thanks!!
You're very welcome, I'm glad it helped! Thank you for reaching out and subscribing! It's supporters like you that help make all this possible.

Thanks for a nice video. Could I download your parts so I can follow your video?
