It would considerably need twice or times 90 or more energy that it uses to make the black holes to sustain such blackhole. Also, fatigue. Also, have you ever tried pushing paper into it's smallest ball? After it's small, one can't really keep on because it's so stiff. It's legit like Gardevoir pushing a spring into a ball and keeping the spring that is inerting outward force into being the same shape. When you push energy into something it will push back with greater energy. Newton's law, I might have not said it correctly. So I don't think the black holes thing makes sense..
I don't. The pokedex does. "to protect its trainer, it will expend all its psychic power to create a small black hole". As much as I'd like my banker to think otherwise, you can't pull more money out of an empty account.

Ok; I really like this theory, it makes a lot of sense It fixes one of the two problems I had with Game Theory's video on the subject, that is the question of sustainability and size of the black holes created, but not my major question. How would Gardevoir protect their trainer with one? This dilemma was still present in Game Theory's video with the black holes being minuscule and unsustainable. The answer is quite simple, yet never approached. Quick example; say someone threatens a Gardevoir's trainer with a gun and is quite intent on killing them, In this scenario, Gardevoir can create a small black hole near the gunman's hand causing the assailant to lose their hand; and possibly the gun; thus disabling them. Or even inside their head decapitating them. either way Gardevoir has saved their trainers life, using a black hole no less, proving the Pokedex correct. Even with an unsustainable black hole, this should still be possible; however, Game Theory doesn't mention this possibility and proceeds to say that because the black hole is too small, thus it can't be useful, thus the Pokedex is wrong. Conversely, I say the Pokedex is right, Gardevoirjust killed; in the given scenario; to keep their trainer safe. sorry for the long comment, I have a tendency to make long comments. Finally! Thank you, Lockstin and Maxill, for pointing out the *one thing* that every other theorist out there continually forgets: Pokemon are elemental creatures from a different universe that don't need to follow our own physics. Always bugs me. Also, it said I was the 3rd view, but I don't believe that. Oh, and was there a Wingull this time? 'Cause I missed it if so.
There are some mystic beings in our own folklore of creatures said to have the ability to defy the laws of physics.Of course w ehave no way to know for sure if that's true unless we find one which that would also be dependent on if they're real to begin with or just an exaggeration to a pre-existing lifeform.
If Gardevoir can make black holes, she surely can erase them without issues as well. I imagine her just creating a black hole big enough to absorb the threat and then destroying the black hole completely and utterly. Or maybe her "black holes" aren't actual black holes as we know them but just warp gates of darkness that teleport the threat away, making it look like it was eaten by the hole.
Gravity also afects things without mass because it curves the space-time itself. If you exist, gravity afects you. On the other hand, if an object feels equal forces in oposite directions, it won't move at all. Suposing that telequinesis is like a magnetic field, gardevoir wudn't feel any force when floting. You can levitate iron if you have a magnet of the exact force at the exact distance over it, and the magnet would now feel an extra force pulling it down. Good video! P.D.: Excuse me if something isn't correctly writen, I'm Spanish.
If at any point someone finds a reason to call you a Poketuber, you automatically are one, and you need to not make any non-Pokemon videos ever again because you will lose money and subscribers for every non-Pokemon video you create. Such is the case with Lockstin. He became a Poketuber long ago, and he's not allowed to not be a Poketuber anymore, he loses money and subscribers any time he does a non-Pokemon video.
Gardevoir is the only Psychic and Fairy type to create black holes Now with the dark type z move _' _*_BLACK HOLE_*_ eclipse'_ every dark type can now do that
2:38. I have a question. It can suck everything in. And Gardeivor made the black hole to protect the trainer. Won’t the trainer get sucked into the black hole? And when will the black hole close and explode? Does gardeivor choose where the black hole opens at?
Wouldn't it be more accurate to describe it as a sphere of annihilation like the Dungeons and Dragons spell of the same name Instead of calling it a black hole
Being that Machoke can lift an entire mountain with one arm and Larvitar eats an entire mountain to evolve, I imagine Gardevoir should be able to make a black hole with the Earth's gravity. I just think there are lots of other Gardevoir's prepared to stop it if it gets out of hand.
I've seen game theory do this kind of thing so many times now, and this was the first video I ever saw talking about it, I heard they even did a similar thing with mega man. By "thing" I mean them conveniently missing or not paying attention to something that could possibly shatter their theory or change it in such a way that it wouldn't be as interesting.
Been a while since you last did one of these Game Theory Debunked videos! And here I thought that the "black hole" was just a fancy description for the move Shadow Ball, which Gardevoir can learn and looks very similar to a small black hole. One thing I don't like about Game Theory is how they constantly ignore the way things work in the games universes they theorize about while trying to replace it with how things work in real life. Who's to say physics in the Pokémon world (or the world of any game they theorize on) work anything like they do in our world to begin with? Or anything for that matter? Both the games and anime have provided plenty of proof that things that are normally fatal to us, like fire or high amounts of electricity, can be brushed off like it's nothing after drinking some lemonade. Proof being that Ash has been *REPEATEDLY* set on fire by Charizard, whose fire is stated to be able to melt *BOULDERS* and Team Rocket has been electrocuted _literally_ hundreds of times and sent flying for possibly miles at a time at the end of most episodes. Maybe black holes are far less dangerous in the Pokémon world than they are in our world, this is seriously something that GT never seems to consider!
OmegaX5000 let's not forget that odds are the gravity there is wayyy lower with them being able to carry 500lb pokemon on their heads, and the pokemon weights were altered to suit our gravity. I've grown disillusioned with game theory sadly there are always glaring holes in Austin's theories and Matpat has a bad habit of just saying pretty words.
well, to be fair, it obviously works in the game world, he talk about if it was in real life. he wouldn't say that mario doesn't die when he gets hit by a bullet bill, because he clearly does it's pretty much a "what if it was in our world?" sort of thing

Ah, I remember when I first found this channel from an anti theory on Samus's Morph Ball. Good times. I like how Lockstin goes the positive route, while Game Theory always goes negative.
Pokedexes are always insane and nonsensical. I actually believe that Pokémon wasn’t really intended for adults with scientific understanding. It is also a clever marketing strategy, as people will discuss about it and inadvertently advertise the games.
Since I am still quite young, I haven’t played gen 1. Thanks for the information, cool memelord. And to the other comment, I think *logically, like a little too logical for my own good.* I have lost the sense of fantasy because I do not have time to do so.
The type of black hole the pokemon world uses is slightly different, The "protect it's trainer" bit could likely mean a way to use blackholes to teleport the trainer out, and teleport itself, or everything around it, as it was shown in the anime when Gardevoir used Teleport. Blackholes have many theories, Pokemon is using all of them and then some, in "right" and "wrong" ways.
Gardevoir is like Scarlet Witch, their reality warping powers as almost as good as the reality stone it self, with Scarlet Witch being able to somewhat erase the mutant gene (House of M) and bring the dead back to life (Reviving Quicksilver)
But wrong conclusion, as the pokedex clearly states "to protect its trainer, it will expend all its psychic power to create a small black hole". As much as I'd like my banker to think otherwise, you can't pull more money out of an empty account.
Tbh, I think the relationship between Gardevoir and Galade might be a reference to King Arthur and (in some depictions) his sister, Morgan/Morgana. One a valiant magic knight and king wielding the king of all blades, the other, a sorceress bearing one of the strongest known affinities for magic power.
Funny thing is Gardevoir don't have no moves that relate to black hole. Maybe the z-move black hole eclipse. That acute black hole what type of breed is it.
Well, Pokkén did make up for that with its Burst Attack (Fairy Tempest), which starts with a "black hole"...though given it transports the two to another realm, it's probably more of a portal.
"If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Yes. Yes it does. So you're kinda wrong. Why? Just because there is no ear to receive the sound waves does not mean the sound waves don't exist. The moment the vibrations are caused, those vibrations are literally the sound waves traveling through the medium of air. This is why if we left a tape recorder in the vicinity, the sound could be captured for replay at a later time. The sound waves exist because the tree falling, whether someone is present or not, still creates the vibrations carried by the medium. You can't say something doesn't exists based on your lack of perceiving it. Now all the other black hole stuff, yeah, I agree with you. But sir, that tree made a sound, whether you perceived it or not.
Thank you for explaining this quite complex feild of physics correctly. I've never seen someone on UA-cam, who isn't explicitly a science channel do this this accuratly. I especially love, that you explained the relative gravity and that it is not directly linked to mass. Even a lot of physicists forget that sometimes.
Um I have a question, so sense Spirtomb is made from alot of evil spirits so hear is my question, what would happen if it was replaced with good spirits or if all it's spirits left ?

I swear I saw one...
Did you? I probably just missed it, then.

OH, YOU'RE RIGHT! I was being dumb and unobservant; thanks!

Gardevoir mega evolving and creating a black hole would be a really nice final smash if leaks are true
I always figured that Gallade was the knight, while Gardevoir was the mage/spell-caster. Still one of my favorite tag teams in a double battle.

Lockstin you are realy becomming a poketuber.
Gardevoir is the only Psychic and Fairy type to create black holes

"Gardevoir is a valiant..... Hugger?" How can you be good at hugging when you're so bony?
Cause apparently people like hugging skeletons? People like me hugging them but am bonier than a skeleton
Also the giant horn/spike on their chest doesn't seem very embracing
gardevoir probably counts as a sorceress
Or Magi Knight
nah, maybe for galade but gardevoir is most likely a ranged magic caster, knight implies melee which gallade already has covered
You're an amazing theorist Lockstin I subscribe and ring the bell
Lockston? is he a friend of Lonk?
I thought you said ring the hell
2:38. I have a question. It can suck everything in. And Gardeivor made the black hole to protect the trainer. Won’t the trainer get sucked into the black hole? And when will the black hole close and explode? Does gardeivor choose where the black hole opens at?
Wouldn't it be more accurate to describe it as a sphere of annihilation like the Dungeons and Dragons spell of the same name
Instead of calling it a black hole

Being that Machoke can lift an entire mountain with one arm and Larvitar eats an entire mountain to evolve, I imagine Gardevoir should be able to make a black hole with the Earth's gravity. I just think there are lots of other Gardevoir's prepared to stop it if it gets out of hand.
thanks, now i'm imagining gardevoir launching a mini blackhole as a hadouken
I've seen game theory do this kind of thing so many times now, and this was the first video I ever saw talking about it, I heard they even did a similar thing with mega man.
By "thing" I mean them conveniently missing or not paying attention to something that could possibly shatter their theory or change it in such a way that it wouldn't be as interesting.
Restarted the video about 8 times only on view 8 did I realize he called her a hugger and not a hooker....
Not unless you go looking for it...
@@osmacar5331 Stop right there

I thought he said hooker as well
Been a while since you last did one of these Game Theory Debunked videos!
This is random but the Gardevior in the thumbnail gives me a stupid idea:
What if she had Cloud's Buster Sword?
What if gallades hands are the size of clouds buster sword
What if gallade had cloud hair?

Pokedexes are always insane and nonsensical. I actually believe that Pokémon wasn’t really intended for adults with scientific understanding. It is also a clever marketing strategy, as people will discuss about it and inadvertently advertise the games.

Or would dragon accents mighty sky crush still be stronger?

The type of black hole the pokemon world uses is slightly different, The "protect it's trainer" bit could likely mean a way to use blackholes to teleport the trainer out, and teleport itself, or everything around it, as it was shown in the anime when Gardevoir used Teleport.
Blackholes have many theories, Pokemon is using all of them and then some, in "right" and "wrong" ways.
It's a missed opportunity that, to my knowledge, Gardevior doesn't have any moves that play off the black hole creation.
Gardevoir is like Scarlet Witch, their reality warping powers as almost as good as the reality stone it self, with Scarlet Witch being able to somewhat erase the mutant gene (House of M) and bring the dead back to life (Reviving Quicksilver)
Don't think that Gardevoir is up to that level yet.
This might be one of your best videos: great editingand humor, and excellent science.
But wrong conclusion, as the pokedex clearly states "to protect its trainer, it will expend all its psychic power to create a small black hole".
As much as I'd like my banker to think otherwise, you can't pull more money out of an empty account.
Dusclops can eat any of those black holes any day. Dusclops is OP.
That was a surprisingly tame thumbnail.
I'm impressed and proud.
It's weird that Gardevoir can't learn gravity either.
6:38 Where can I find that picture?
Heck ya I love Gardivoir, thanks dude
If Gardevoirs can ignore gravity that suddenly explains their egg group being only amorphous.
Many people have dedicated large amounts of their lives exploring and experimenting with Gardevoir's black holes.
Gardovir is a princess and galalde is a knight ....
Well, as Gardevoir can be both male and female, I believe they were based on the concept of a Guardian Angel.
Winged BluJ I was thinking sword and shield which I think makes sense
OK both of you make sense...
Gardevoir is a mage
They were suppose to make Gardevoir a female only pokemon but scrapped the idea for some reason.

"If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"
Yes.
