  • What it looks like inside a Centurion Ramfill Tank.
I went exploring on my 2018 centurion Fi21. The reason is that there’s been some seepage inside the bilge coming up from the fiberglass on right side of the boat near the stringer closest to the Ram tank.
Even though the boat has been out of water for five months, it’s still seeping up. So I wanted to see if the tanks were empty, which, in fact they were not. There was about 3 gallons still sitting in them.
As you can see on the rear of the drain, it does not fit flush with the floor and even though I park it on a steep hill (like 8-10% grade!) in trailer mode, not all the water comes out. Oddly, the other tank was dry! But I didn’t run my phone down in there on the other side & record to see if or why they are different.
However, my theory is that the glue that they used to seal the top to the tank (and some various other places of the complicated transition from tank to overflow) may not be completely sealed and is allowing water to go in through the layers and finding it’s way out through whatever screw hole or crack it can (in this case, where the fresh water intake is screwed in directly over those screws). Love the boat. Not a huge deal. This boat is never frozen. I’m drying it out now and will seal everything that I see any seepage at. Comments are moderated.
I’ve done a lot of mods. See my other videos on this boat!
