Using the most conservative estimates this would put the Ukrainian wounded at over 1,075,000 people. Combing the killed and wounded puts the number at close to 1.5 million Ukrainians.

As an ex Ukranian from Odessa, you are not mentioning that the south and east of Ukraine are traditional Russian areas, where most support Russia and are waiting to be liberated. Serbia and Russia have about 4 million such refugees.

I live in south of Europe and I've been seeing lately lots of young ukranian men arriving in my country/city - they say they're affraid of getting drafted to the horrors of war and I fully sympathize with them - they're entitled to live a peaceful life :(
