In 2019 I could fill a cart of groceries and have 4 to 5 bags at Walmart Neighborhood market for around $120 by 2024 I can get 2 bags for about $120? I no longer get the carts. I get what I need and go.

Prices for SODA are up -- quit drinking that garbage! Meanwhile, Biden has nothing to do with the increases from the pandemic (when TFG was in charge but did nothing, and they've never come back down), bad weather, or feed costs.

Every time the price of gas goes up, the trucking and shipping companies raise their shipping costs and the stores raise prices to compensate for the increased transportation costs. Groceries, lumber, everything. When gas prices go down, the prices at the store do not and we see these big corporations pocketing all the extra. After doing this several times over the past 10 years, inflation is through the roof! This causes a snowball inflation effect across the economy!

Okay does everyone remember the < > = signs in school ? because I do. They say the economy is doing better right? Wages have gone up, jobs have been created, unemployment has gone down? and the economy is doing good. My response is this, If wages have gone up and prices have gone up, how is it working, they increase one and then increase the other so are higher wages really higher wages? Higher wages are actually hurting us because companies are going to just up prices so they can pay those higher wages, end of story. Jobs are being created, unemployment rate is decreased and the economy is doing great, really where here in the United States? Where is the economy doing great or even better? I have been buying food and gas, I have been paying electric, rent and insurance along with everything else, I don't see a decrease in prices if anything an increase. Not only that but food is a joke on a package it says family size but you buy it take it home it it is half empty and it will feed a family of one person and to top that off it has chemicals added to it. If you go to the store and you steal something or inject a chemical in to lets say an orange your butt is going to jail, end of story but yet that is what they are doing because these family packages that feed a single person is false advertisement on the packaging and they steal your money saying you get something but it is not what you bought, that is stealing. The chemicals or the perseveres that is what they call it is being put in our foods that we pay high dollar for but yet they are not being arrested and people are getting sick and even dying because of the foods they eat but they won't say that. I just wonder when will people stop being played and everyone will come together and say NO MORE. To stop all this craziness it will take a whole nation of people our nation to rise up as a whole. The first words of the Constitution say, "We the people in order to" we have to stop being a part of parties and start being a part of a nation one nation we the people. Ya we have differences, view issues but we all can agree on one thing " Things have to change and we all need to stand as a nation together and say enough is enough." We can vote RED or BLUE but it will be like wages and prices in the end it will be just the same, no president is going to change it and if you think so you are kidding yourself. People will say, " Trump will change it he is for the people." "Look what he did when he was president." I looked didn't see much. Some will say, " Biden has done a good job as the economy is so much better than it was when Trump was in there, " No it is not better and it wasn't better with Trump either." They say stuff but we all know it lies, all of it. The food industry are getting ready for immigrants to leave the United States who work the fields for cheap if Trump gets in there, who is going to do those jobs for cheap, so they are raising prices too? _________ you got it. This is just one thing. if this term Biden gets in and raises taxes on the billionaires, the billionaires are raising prices to line their pockets because they are not ready to lose money on taxes, so they raise prices now. Just one thing. = not < or > than. Why does some people see it and others don't? I ask myself aren't we all living it?

Everyone who is striking with Uber and lyft it makes no sense because everyone is struggling to pay for everyday needs.
Your better off taking a local taxi service than them. Because they charge too much. I like Uber but I know it's too expensive. It's only if I have no real cash that I take Uber. Especially if I'm in a rush.

It's not inflation, call it what it is, price gouging.

weird how there was no price gouging when trump was in office - I thought he was a puppet to the rich?

It is called inflation. Read a book.

@Ultimate-Guardian. This level of inflation is artificially made. Inflation is at a 30 year high while corporate profit is at a 70 year high. It isn't an accident nor is this inflation natural by any means. It is intentional price gouging so corporations can turn a bigger profit

The story is rather disingenuous; everyone knows rates are up since their peak in mid 2022, that's not news. What they aren't saying is how the rates have come down since then, yes there was a slight bump in December, but rates are still trending down. It's not below 2% and it still needs to be worked on, I just think it's dishonest to report it as such. We still to work on wages.

I thought the whole story was disingenuous. Very weird twisting of the information. Not false, just misleading.

Higher wages will just lead to more inflation and higher pricez...
