Todd, as I was watching your video I realized that I had to run to the garage, get my tackle out of the boat and start removing all the hooks out. Now that I have all of it removed, I am not sure what I should do with all of these painful metal hazards? I think the only way to render them safe is to melt them down in a forge or something. I am going to go fire that up now... Wait - I can't do that as propane or natural gas is not safe for the environment. What to do, what to do. I am so perplexed as to what needs to be done. Plain and simple. Food source. That’s why there’s limits. Plain and simple. I’m a commercial fisherman. There’s quotas set to keep from over fishing and surveys done to check the biomass. Everybodies a crusader today for something. I’m no different. I’m a crusader for redesigning most of the dams in the U.S. so migratory species can travel again and nutrients can get to the ocean. Would help a lot. But I will say the only bass fisherman I’ve ever talked down to while explaining nutrient loading and anadromous species is Randy blauket. lol. But he complained about the quality of the lake water and lack of fish and blamed it on the fishermen. Then he said I was spreading misinformation. lol. I like the sarcasm Todd. Lol I did however see something disturbing to me and I couldn't belive they showed it live like it was Ok. One of the FFS kids committed what I would say was pretty egregious infractions. He was fishing a flat most likley a shellcracker or bream bed and when he left the area he jumped on a plane really close to an older couple anchored in a John boat with a beach umbrella in the center. I know he had to have came close to swamping them. Then the next move he jumps off the frount deck fiers up the big motor and jumps on a plane before his observer has his PFD buckled. Dam kid is going to kill someone.
