Work, strategy, mindset. And some more serious work.
times achieved by Popovici in both 100m and 200m are extraordinary, the most impressive being 46.88 from 100m
The 200m time is more impressive to me. As I understand it, it's a more tactical race, where pacing yourself thru 4 laps is just as important as being fast. Also, b/c the 100m time is only 2nd-fastest this year, and there are several swimmers not too far from 46-high. But there's no other current swimmer close to 1-43-low in the 200m, not by more than 1 sec. So it seems that he's doing something special on that distance - speed, stamina, and tactics.
Well done boy❤❤❤
both in same event + 46.66 in 4x100. that is only a step further
He is sooooo chill. He was warming up and I passed him and he showed me some black dude on his phone and told me that it's his aura hahahahahahah. He's so funny
what happened to the naysayers
David Popovici: 46.86, not 46.80
Before on world champ event at roma 2022 he's good also he's world record and champion but when the day's come at world champh event he's not win when he's favorite, hope at the olympic he can peak performance with Dressel, Grousset, Zhanle, Chalmers
In 2023 he prioritized his studies, because he passed the final high school exam. The trainings in 2023 were done between the hours dedicated to studies. The 2023 World Cup results are what you get with a Popovici who doesn't train enough. This year he prioritized training and this is the result.
Really hope he and Pan aren’t doping
What doping? They are tested all the time and automatically after winning any medal.
@@todanrg3he was one of 18 players from China tested positive prior to Tokyo Olympic games
@@landnantong8207no, he was not in the list, qin hayang who was in the list. Dont spread fake information.
@@landnantong8207 dont say anything you don't know - it was 23, not 18, and it wasn't before the olympics, it was before the world championships - and pan zhanle was not in that 1 of 23
He might choke in the Olympics like a young Mark Spitz in 68
yeah, he got that olympic gold in paris.
Clearly Popovici is his fan’s favorite. There’re woos and boos, always.
I am glad that David made good times in both events. He is back in good shape. I hope he will beat his best time in 200m event.
