Spectral Pancz is now a free plugin and I use it all the time for transient multiband shaping and colouration. This is perfect unique info you are putting out. Subbed and look forward to more tutorials
abnormally blunt of me but I come back to study your videos after one randomly got into my algorithm, I recognized your name from some tracks, then I realized you hit a lot of checkmarks that make me binge a channels content: Looks cool Cool accent Great knowledge Easy to understand Friendly demeanor Excited to teach There's probably more but those stand out to me most
This is some next level info right here. Never thought of using a saturator like that, going to be messing about with this technique a lot! Thanks as always D 👏
Thanks for the great tips you've been putting out lately. I see your subscribers keep increasing as well. Subscribed some time ago! Keep up with the valuable content and your subscribers will skyrocket! Some more kick and bass techniques are always a hit! Thanks
I have several techniques like the one you use with Saturn 2, another would be with shaperbox 3 in the drive section in multiband mode with the envelope activated. Good job Dean, always sharing your knowledge and wisdom. Thank you
Mate,Just discovered your channel and i like it!!!following you here and Soundcloud and soon Instagram if i return to “social media” ( best thing i did in years )
It would be really helpful for your viewers if you could get that software that circles your curser every time you click/move it so it’s easier to follow your moves as it’s very detailed what your demonstrating. Thanks for sharing this info, really appreciate it 💪🏻
It's a new day, it's a new day; my bass vibrates with anticipation. Also, the new version of Cubase has track modulators which are kind of like like Ableton's MaxForLive LFOs. They're not as flexible - you can't route them anywhere in your project, and there's other tricks you can do in Live/Max, combining multiple modulators and mapping them all over the place - but Cubase's modulators will totally let you do transient shaping. Cubase has a multiband distortion stock plug too (quadrafuzz).
Great video ❤. I’m always using an Ableton’s stock enveloppe follower plugin for this kind of things. That’s the best way to blend your effects i think. No i’ll using more roar😅
Great Video Dean 🙌🏼 I need to look at Roar! James Reynolds showed me the Saturn example a while ago and it’s 🔥. I’d love to see the breakdown of H20 Higher if you still have the project fella! I still love that remix if you have the files / project ❤❤❤
Hey mate - hope you’re good 😊 Lol that H2O mix is 30 years ago now - I’ve lost all the parts over the years. Damn, now’s the time to bring those tracks back to life 😂
Not necessarily - if you choose specific frequencies for each sound that don’t mask each other, you can carve space for each sound to pop. Plus you don’t don’t this to every sound and you choose which sounds to de-emphasise as I do in the video. Some in front of the mix, some behind.
Brilliant video, thanks for sharing
My pleasure - glad you like it!
These are awesome tricks! lately I've been using Pro-MB on expand mode and setting a fast attack/release which can get a nice effect too
Great tip!

Won’t adding saturation to almost all sounds undo everything and give you the same problem as you had in the beginning?
