  • Hatsan Blitz fails to cycle pellets after several mags. You can fix the feeding issue by tuning the air power.

you are the first and only Guy to put up a video taking apart this area of the Gun ,, love it,, although I have no experience with the .177 Cal I do have the .30 ,, This had been my findings on it ,,,Gun would NOT fill with air,, sent from factory empty (0 Pressure) which is what the manual says is normal, I could not get gun to fill, leaked as fast as I put the air in (Via GX CS3) and Hand pump attempts LOL,, so I sent the gun back, next one did the same thing, so I took it apart and put a micro amount of liquid Thread seal on the very tip of the Air valve needle then reassembled and voilà. I was able to fill with my baby compressor :)
Also the gun comes with the dirtiest grease I have ever seen , so while I had it apart I removed and cleaned all moving parts and lightly re Oiled with a (air chamber lube) I know not intended use lol but nice consistency , (no more gritty sounding action) gun has performed flawlessly for over 1500 rounds at this point with a dissemble and re-clean + few dry cloth barrel pull throughs at around 500 rounds ,, on the Note of Ammunition I have found that JSB Diablos are a much cleaner round compared to the Votex ones in .30 Cal

Thanks For the great videos! So far I have really enjoyed my a Blitz in .30 cal. I wish there were more tuning options, but the full auto feature is really fun.

I have a 22 blitz, a 25 blitz and a .30 blitz. I can say that the ONLY one that is dependable is the .30 cal. My .22 has gone back to HATSAN-USA 6 times for warranty repair in 4 months and my .25 has gone back 3 times in 4 months. My .30 has more than 12,000 rounds through it and it has never failed. The .30 Cal has same kind of magic that the lower calibers are just missing! The .22 blitz is a total disaster I have to say!!!!!!!!!

The sortie is identical for the adjustment. One thing I would recommend is lube it all up while apart. Use plenty of lube on the spring surfaces to avoid it getting twisted up when you adjust it because it needs to be able to slip on the 2 surfaces when being compressed. You can use alternate lube here versus silicon since compressed air does not contact the hammer spring. Also keep in mind there are better springs available. If you measure the spring you can order some heavier duty better quality springs for the job. I did this for my sortie after adjusting the stock spring it stayed compressed. Cheap materials from Hatsan.

Hi Eric. Thanks to your videos. I have been able to successfully adjust the hammer spring tension. I have done it several times and and totally comfortable. I will next open the other side and grease the whole inside with moly grease. My .25 cal fires well on semi but only fires auto under 100 bar. Im looking for the sweet spot for full auto over 250 bar.
I had a question for you. Would'nt we get the same hammer spring adjustment affect if we just adjust the big screw that holds in the spring? This way the door does not have to be open when adjusting. I have not tried it yet. I wanted to know your opinion first. Also are there any adjustments that can be made between the hammer and the pcp bottle? Thanks again for your videos.

I just bought one(build date 10-2020 and have shot about 300 rounds with it, not a single problem, and the cocking of the hammer after a new magazine is inserted is quite heavy, so perhaps the factory has already tuned the latest guns.

If you take the gun apart and replace ALL the grease with synthetic motor oil, hand rubbed on the parts, it runs perfectly. All my parts were massaged with Royal Purple 10w40 and the O-rings were massaged with Oatey 90% Silicone grease #30219.

Every thing I've been hearing about the Blitz is its it's a big disaster. I ordered one before I learned about all the issues. So I'm selling it before I ever even try it because if I have to send it back with in the first 30 days I'll cut it up with a saw saw and send it back. So instead I'd prefer to just sell it.

I just received my .30 and it won't shoot more than 1 shot -I have to cock it every round -so would more tension on the spring fix it ? I have to literally push the bolt forward ( and no not a magazine issue )

    • @deepmaze1

Receiver of this air gun does not allow you any significant tuning. Moreover, it can crack. Therefore valve modification is questionable. And longer barrel gives no advantages on air guns (longer than 55cm).
