+Nazimelon Mopeds in the 1980s and around had ACTUAL 2 gears and it would shift automatically between them. Every modern scooter has a CVT which has an infinite number of gears/ratios, you can find videos on youtube on the subject of how a CVT transmission works. It's not 2 gears or any other number, it's constantly adjusting the ratio.

well, than thats what i mean by 2 gear automatic i guess. how is it different here? and there was a "real" 2 gear auto in the 90s?
