    Girl, thank you so much for making this video! I had been on the fence for many months about opening a 360 savings but I had so many questions that I just wasn't getting answers or clear answers & explanations on. I finally bit the bullet & opened one anyway & I'm so glad I did, plus there is still a lot for me to figure out & your video couldn't have came at a more perfect time

    Hello! Question!
    1. Since you have both a savings and checkings when filing taxes do you file separate papers for each account? Generated by the bank
    2. Do you file taxes online or in person? If you do online how do you do it
    Edit: 3. since you have multiple savings funds do you have to file taxes for each one of them or just the total amount added up?

    Only thing you forgot to touch on is that you do have to put funds in the account within 60 days or it will close the account. I learned not the hard way when I was playing around trying to make New accounts and I wanted to make one for all of my sinking funds even though I wasn't anywhere near ready to deposit money from my cash thinking funds. And I let them sit with no Balance on them for 60 days and they close the accounts. Probably wouldn't be an issue for everyone but if you're trying to be proactive and open them early like me just make sure that you deposit at least a few cents or something into it so that it shows that the account is in use

    You did an excellent job explaining this! I used Capital One years ago for sinking funds, but got too impatient waiting for the external transfers to show up😀. What’s funny is that my accounts never closed, and are still there! So it would be easy to start using them again.
    Question: if you use the debit card, does it take money out of the checking? So like you would have to transfer money from a savings account in the checking, and then swipe?

    • @savsaves
      @savsaves  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you!! And yes, so when you swipe, it pulls the funds out of the checking acct, not the individual savings accounts. So you’d have to transfer the funds if you wanted to spend them. That’s why I like it for more long term savings Bc I’m not using money out of them regularly!

    • @savsaves
      @savsaves  2 роки тому +2

      And yes sometimes the external transfers can’t take a while to go through 🥲 but I never need the money right away so it’s not a big deal for me!

    One big question how do you withheld taxes on saving account? Like employment you have w-4 form. Does capital one have w-4 form too? Won't people get penalty on taxes if your total tax withheld is lower that what you suppose to pay?

    • @savsaves
      @savsaves  Рік тому +1

      So I got a paper in the mail around tax time detailing all the important tax stuff and I gave it to my accountant and she took care of it! But yes, definitely need to be mindful of that!

    • @farhanrahman3667
      @farhanrahman3667 Рік тому

      @@savsaves thanks for the info but i was wondering if you can setup tax withheld? like 20% of the earnings is paid to the government right away and you are not seeing it. Like your employment paycheck? or for banks, you will get everything; 100% earnings and have to pay taxes after?

    Well with Capital One you can't even log in to your account as many times as you want in a day because at some point you will get a message saying you have maxed out of your log in limit try again in 24 hours. Maybe for this reason alone I should stay with Chase Bank and forget about Capital One banking.
    And I opened Chase checking 2 weeks ago.
    The log in limit with Capital One banking is very annoying in my opinion. Any suggestions? 🙏 Should I stay with Capital One banking or leave them despite the log in limit with Capital One? Thank you so much and hope you are having a great day. 🙏👍🙂
