I was born in Mumbai (Bombay back then!) but my roots are in Goa. I've existed on the internet since my teens - I'm now thirty. I enjoy beauty, dressing up, cooking, tea (particularly masala chai), urban gardening & the company of my four cats. I also enjoy making things & run a small business, Studio Bahia featuring jewellery, ceramics & more (all made by me). This channel is an extension of those things. Majorda Beach is a hidden gem.
You got Pentagon and MatrinzConner Restaurants about 4 (4Star-5Star hotels).
Shangrila hotel was a old famous place but it's under renovation now.
Hi, south goa is quite slow which I love. I would say avoid the tours and tour operators, try to local eateries & carts, be kind / friendly toward them and ask what they sell, take walks. If you drink, in the local restauarants try Urrak or Feni with Limca. Go on rides or walks, explore your surroundings & Goa will surprise you.

Can you buy proper dishes like curries from street vendors on pushcarts/stalls there, and not just snacks and typical street foods? I've never seen that, is this a Goa thing?
@@yyvette You absolutely can, we got sorpotel, as well as veggie dishes like chana or korma from the local gados. I think this gado culture is new, not more than 10 years old (at least in our areas) but many people who don't or can't cook absolutely eat meals at the stalls.
@@yyvette It's a thing in parts of Bombay too, mostly frequented by migrants or elderly, and it's huge in other Asians countries, I think it's so great! Part of the reason street food culture is so vibrant in places like Bangkok is because a lot of the people don't cook for various reasons and just get their meals from these vendors.
