I am a bit late to the show but this is an awesome model and blown away by the skill and level of skill applied to this subject. I built the Tamiya version with no paint last year with no paint, not done any plastic kits since I was a kid. Now 60 and would love to do something like this but.......................?.😮
Thanks so very much for the kind words it really appreciated it’s a fantastic kit and well worth it you’re never too old to model I only started when I was fifty and I’m still learning enjoy 😊
Came over here following Gav's shout out and started with this video as it's a beautiful build of a Great War subject, my favorite era for model building. Your MK.V. Tank is superb. Anyway, I've subscribed and appreciate your talent! Good show!
Hi Rob, your Mark V looks great! Thanks for going through the steps you went through to get the finish you were able to achieve. Thanks for sharing. Have a good one, Jeff.
A result of outstanding nature. A model for the showcase and for exhibitions. Wonderful work Rob. Really a nice model, with a complete interior that shows how the crew had their space inside. Greetings, Joachim
Excellent work uncle rims! I got the same kit in my stash. You got me in to buying interior kits. The next 2 interior kits I'm getting are amusing hobbies full interior Ferdinand or elegant, and their new tiger 1 P full interior
A great build Rob …my grandfather ended up in the Tank corp in 1917 …that was the 3rd different regiment he was in since he’d joined up in 1914 …he started out in the Suffolk regt …then the Rifle brigade and then the Tank corp…winning the military medal for bravery in the field …I don’t know for what action ..but he was a sniper at one point …keep up the great work. 🙏👍🏻
Absolutely stunning work my friend the attention to detail is excellent. I think this is your best build to date certainly one to be proud of. Will look forward to your next build

Thanks for the video! A beautiful build. Coincidentally I didn't see this until I almost finished mine, and also coincidentally I used Model Air Khaki Brown (I had earlier used it on a Whippet and I liked the look). Now I need to add some of the weathering you demonstrated :)
Fantastic, Rob! That is off the scale - absolutely top quality build. Beautifully presented on that base with the interior on view as well. Bravo, mate! 👏👏👏Cheers. 🍻👍

What a fantastic build. May I ask, before you did the pin wash, did you give the model a gloss coat first? Also, how did you do the 'soil' in the sponson & tank body?
Hi my friend thanks so much for your comment I never gloss my builds I start the weathering straight on the paint never had any problems I used pigments for the soil kept building up in layers and using thinner to fix them in place hope this helps
