Sorry, that you are having to go through this. However by sharing your experiences with the vehicle, you are saving people from falling into such a trap, thank you very much for that. I genuinely wish that the issues get resolved and that you are compensated for all the hassle you have had to go through with the vehicle so far.
Namaskaram Anna, A good vehicle in bad hands. Even this is niche segment, @forcemotors never/won’t care that few customers too. They are projecting their revenue as soaring, but standing on top common man’s money, energy & time. Marketing & Sales is core strength of a company but to retain customers/ to rise the trust service also need to competitive. This is their same attitude, sell few half baked vehicles in market and go sleep, and sell again next year. In between, RND team; the funny department, address (core) errors, may be in months, years 😅 All beta testing on customers!! I would like to call this Gurkha version as = BS6.2 Beta ♾️ 😌
@@AwakenedTraveller what I understand from other old Gurkha owners, it might take 6 months to settle all issues. All the Gurkhas had issues. But the problem is here, Force never stand up and address; we have this issues and we are working on it. The feel as a new Gurkha owner is, no one from Force never address this officially, your contact touch point will be the service manager. You will be terrified by looking at their work culture. I think over a period of time, we may accept this as, this is how Force works” But this vehicle have its own unique capabilities, the roar from engine is nice. Hope they will fix transmission soon!
@@lifeofyatris For me it is not so pleasing to hear that.. I myself love the Force GURKHA... Though at this time I am not financially stable to get a Car worth 20 or 18 Lakhs. But I like the way GURKHA is. But if the customer touch points or the service quality is like this, then it is really unfortunate and unacceptable. Because just buying a car or suv is not enough, the maintenance matters and if the company is not addressing the complaints of customers then what is the use of buying such product. Then we have the same type of problem from Mahindra service. Thats the reason why people rather prefer to buy a car of those manufacturers whose after sales service is good..
I had test driven 3d version as soon as it was launched couple of years ago. That day even a technician from the showroom accompanied me. I told him during the test drive that there is something wrong with the gearbox. I just felt something weird with gear shifting . Yet he was blabbering some nonsense. Thank god I didn't bother buying this

When I test driven vehicle , I felt glitch while changing 1 to 2 gear and i thought my driving is problematic but after I saw it happening again and again and after seeing your videos I know . I think this gurkha is last vehicle before bs7 because no breaks feedback,heavy issues in quality of steering wheel,seats,buttons.

The issue is, after getting the vehicle, you will be your own, Force won’t help us much, they will try to bypass/ignore the issue as much as they can. Rest all issue we can handle, but this is something crucial : not able to drive the vehicle properly.
@@rajcp9737 No, today also in workshop. I don’t suggest you to buy now! Today all of sudden DPF error and wasted 40 minutes and after regen, the torque has gone. This version is not off road capable as DPF you can’t relay. The regen is happening in just 75KM Intervals. Wait for a month and see, else please consider other options.
I have been watching a lot of people showing problems of the Gurkha. Hence I decided to visit the nearest Force showroom in Kottayam, Kerala. I spoke to them about all these issues. They have promised me a test drive soon. Yet, I am really confused. I need a strong, comfortable 4x4.
This is the main reason Gurkha is selling in less nos; from the day one 1998. Very poor after service. The vehicle is not blamed. Especially the present generation vehicle is very good but the service is zero.
@@shugotodas9549 I’m still shuttling to workshop, The next visit on Monday Nov 4th : 16 thvisit in 4 month. 1) The gear box is still leaking and tight. 2) DPF regeneration is happening in less than 100km, which means there is a malfunction. Force yet to fix this. Which also cause huge mileage loss. And engine damage eventually. Unfortunately, they have started an RnD NOW! 3) Low quality bushes, boots, gaskets etc - which leads you replace this frequently : my excel boot is gone twice already. The pain is: to change this you will loose 4hr. 4) Engine side oil sweat is happening because of low quality packing. 5) vehicle is full of rattle noises : sometime from steering, bumper, seats 6) Vibration is huge now, yet to find a solution So, if you are looking for a problem free vehicle, don’t buy. If this is your weekend TOY, and you take this once in a while, then go ahead and buy it. But be prepared for frequent workshop visits! More than joy, this Gurkha is given me lots of mental agony. Whenever I go somewhere; I’m mentally prepared for a breakdown and coming back by a bus/or any public transport systems.
the manufacturer is unreachable to the end user, i have got some work done at Bangalore (Khivraj Motors) and I am sure you are in touch with Mr Shekhar. The only respite is you have go get it repaired/serviced. I have undergone the suffering for the first year so i can feel the helplessness as a new car owner.
Please check your both back tyre inside both side under maatt there is water leakage. Water comes when you you drive in wet. I am 100% sure about it i already seen 5 to 6 new gurkha have the issue
@yashwanthttsl6803 At present in Bangalore we have only one service center - Yeswanthpur/Goraguntepalya/ Peenya - all stories I mentioned from that epicenter only. And this error - a dealer can't fix it as it's a manufacturing error. Now they are doing an operation by next week - a few experts are coming from Pune for a joint operation. Hope you got the point.

@@INDIAN-CLASSICS still work on progress, so don’t take the vehicle and shuttle to the workshops. Tell them, there are serious issues like gear box, DPF, when are you rectifying it? Don’t let them have the hands on it after the delivery. Right now, DPF issues seems to be related to “ Fuel injection malfunction” which causing serious issues with mileage, and pollution norms. Hope you are getting the serious of the issues and this sales guys are the worst, you won’t see them after getting your delivery. But the mechanics will be your friends !
Sir you should have done research on the G it’s not everyone’s cup of tea! It has many initial teething issues that will last for few months or even years! What you have is a refined vehicle compared to older models! I am not saying that the support is good or great! All I am saying is it’s a well know fact that dealerships cannot give the kind of support for the number of sales made! If you bought the G thinks it’s a Car no sorry it’s a Jeep! Do message me to see if I can helps with few tips, but mine is a 2007 model and yours is a very different vehicle so don’t know howmuch I can help but will surely give it a try! Do message me

Refinement is everywhere but how you can justify selling a beta vehicle in the market and we pled for mercy to correct the bugs 😅.? We/I are not lab rat sir, please don’t justify us as “car” and G category, if we didn’t had that passion why would I buy this Gurkha for 23 L and spend another extra 4 Lakh to travel properly? I own a new Gurkha and it’s utter idiotic… unlike any other automotive passionate, I have purchased and now it’s a pain.. 62 days ownership 8 break down for every 400 kms now breakdown has begun to 100 km due to dpf unresolved till now … Apart the gear issues have begun… Iam just clueless … in fact I have shamelessly approached other manufacturers for selling at a competitive price but none agreed but mocked me…
Sir u r clueless of the new vehicle issues… I get stranded on road due to break down… 2007 vehicle still travel with mechanical issues but this 2024 vehicle is stand still due to ecu control… The technical team is in their own world 😂

@@lifeofyatris NamasteJi Thar ROXX is great R&D and refined one I guess But the G has lots of space (if you remove the middle row and make it a 4 seater and good road presence, these issues with AdBlue and great shifter will be fixed in possibly a year!
