This Soundbar bumps! Takes a few songs to loosen up and once you set a EQ to it perfect for my needs. I have no need for a subwoofer. Those things are so ugly.
I own a Samsung Q80R TV from 2019 which originally didn't offer Q-Symphony but recently I got the option to allow both the S90B soundbar and TV speakers to work at the same time so I suspect Samsung released an update that enabled that function.
@fre602 Definitely! If you're looking for a compact solution for improving your audio, this is still a great way to go, even if your TV doesn't support Q Symphony. It's a really good value!
@itzzDizZY If you have, or plan to get, other Sonos speakers in your home we'd say go with the Beam gen 2. If not, the Samsung is a great alternative and will save you some money. Here are links to our current prices on both. Sonos: bit.ly/3H2Djpj Samsung: bit.ly/3ZXfDeY

@apples8374 The bass is good on this one. It's not overwhelming, but it's enough to bring out the rest of the audio. If you're looking for your floor to rumble however, you'll want to look into something like the HWB650 that has a separate wireless subwoofer. Here's a link if you want to learn more about that one: www.abt.com/Samsung-HW-B650-ZA-3.1-Channel-Soundbar-With-Dolby-5.1-DTS-Virtual-X-2022-HWB650ZA/p/176505.html

@PurpleSlays This model has an HDMI ARC and an Optical input. If you're gaming monitor has the capability of sending either of those signals then it could, but we'd suggest looking into a model that's designed specifically to work with PCs, like this one from Razer: www.abt.com/Razer-Leviathan-V2-PC-Gaming-Soundbar-With-Subwoofer-RZ0503920100R3U1/p/189990.html
@htfcboy98 We like the Q600B better since it has it's own separate sub, plus dedicated height channels for Atmos audio. If you don't have the space for a sub, or don't mind losing the height drivers, the S60B is still a great sounding speaker.
Cant decide what soundbar to buy. This or new m series vizio all in one soundbar? I want great sound clear dialogue and alot of bass. Or should i go with a 3.1 samsung idk what to do
@Ziggy W A 3.1 channel model will likely give you better bass since it has a dedicated sub channel, but we really liked the HWS60B. @helicoptermn1463 We would suggest taking a look at the LG S75Q if you're interested in Atmos audio and want to stick with LG for your soundbar: bit.ly/3GS5asn It's slightly more of an investment than the Samsung HWS60B, but it matches up much better with your TV. If that's out of your budget, we'd say to go with the HWS60B over the SN5Y. Even though it's a different brand than your TV, you'll get a better overall audio experience.

@deanharrison162 It will still work if your TV has an eARC. The soundbar itself is only an ARC, but can still play back Atmos audio through the Dolby Digital Plus codec.
@MikeCriticalOps Not right out of the box. You'd need to use an analog to optical converter as this soundbar doesn't have an analog input. We haven't had a chance to try this out though, so we can't say definitively if there will be any type of lag because of the conversion.
