    I have the same grill, my advice is put it on smoke for 15 minutes with lid open until smoke has gone and flame is going hard, then jack it up to 400 then leave another 15 minutes closed, let it heat good to temp then open grill and place inside, make sure they are seasoned well with salt and pepper (oil before so it sticks) leave them 5 minutes with door closed then open it up wack it upto max check internal temp and flame them till 55 internal and BAM best steak ever...
