I know that using football highlights to make a clip may end up in trouble
Now, the question is, does using after effects and making these highlights artistic like the video you made will make my channel not have a problem with copyright? Or should I have less trouble?
@@Nasiri-UA-cam The only trouble you'll get in by using football content is a copyright claim. Which doesn't change anything other than the fact that you won't be able to monetize the video. And that won't be any different if you add special effects. Unless the effects are so big that the footage is unrecognizable.

CS6 is from almost 20 years ago so it’s very possible that some features are different or missing.

Sorry, i don’t know any. CS4 is probably 15 yo at this point so my guess is that all the other alternative have evolved as well with time and wouldn’t work with CS4 anyway.

Awesome video! I've got the goal frame masked out and the saber fire effect applied. Looks great. However, after I add the duplicate video layer to mask out the keeper (and a defender in my particular video) from the segment starting on 7:27 that layer seems to block/override the fire effect. I get the fire effect back if I turn off the duplicate layer with the keeper/defender mask. Is there a blending option for the duplicate layer I missed?
Does your duplicate still have the first mask activated on it? If so, you should delete it. Also, make sure your duplicate is on top.
@@BeyondTheGame_E I figured it out after staring at your keeper mask settings at 8:18. I was missing the mask mode "Add". All is well, thanks for the reply!

I don't use Final Cut so I wouldn't know how to do it but I'm sure it's possible.
Thank you for the tutorial. I have only one question. When I add he fire explosion overlay and set it to 3D, it's no longer possible to set the mode to "Add" or any other. The mode can be set only if it's not 3D layer. I tried the same with pre comping, it works but with other limitations. I tried it in AE 2021/ 2023 still the same. So I wonder how did it work for you?
I've just solved the problem. My 3d renderer was set to the Cinema4D renderer, that's why blending modes (and several other things) were disabled. So I just had to switch back to classic rendeer and everything works fine. Maybe someone runs into the same problem and this will help you to solve it.

4:24 where you go to the marker and mark the goal with points. that does not work for me. Mine has a * and yours has the number 8. I hope you understand what i mean 😅
@@ortega23 that's just a shortcut. You can change it in the keyboard shorcuts (in the EDIT dropdown menu).

@@BeyondTheGame_E Appreciate your reaction, for example; I used the pen tool to outline the character, but is there a step in between? I am a novice what this is concerned so no idea if I have to press anything after I used the pen tool on the object. Including whether to press "mask" when right clicking the layer of path.
As I instead follow your step after and copy the pen created path, to the solid (black) layer, it simple does nothing nor does it show the outline I made (with the pen tool).
@@anonymousanarchism6651 You will see the lines you created with the pen tool if you select the mask. You can also change the mode of your mask using the mode dropdown menu just like I did at 4:39

Hey E, awesome tutorial. When copying and pasting masks, sometimes they end up in the wrong location in the solid layer, what are the steps to fix that?
When copy-pasting keyframes, the pasted keyframes will start from where your playhead is positioned on your timeline. So make sure before you paste that the playhead is aligned with the first keyframe you are copying. I hope this makes sense.
@@BeyondTheGame_E Hey E! Thanks for the reply. It does make sense, however, in doing so, the pasted mask on the black solid was not aligned with the original mask. It’s as if it was offset.

Make sure your layers are in the right order. Otherwise you must have missed a step along the way.

@@reelsports101 I know which clip you are talking about. But that's a clip of Ronaldo scoring a goal in the Champions League. Unfortunately, I'm not the one who owns the right to that clip. The UEFA probably is who you should ask if you want permission.
Hi, I've an issue.. when I apply the Saber effect everything is cool, but the mask starting from the beginning of the video not from the marker I've added so the effect applied in the entire video plus the mask and I want to hide that.. which I don't know what to do, I appreciate your help.
If you want to hide the effect, you can lower the opacity of that layer to zero using opacity keyframes.
Okey, but the main problem here that I've the main mask with the effect Plus another mask with effect around the video (want to hide) when I try to hide.. it won't! unless I delete the entire mask.

Hey there 👋🏽 it's hard for me to help you without having access to your project. Tracker not working could mean a lot of things. The bigger your tracker target is, the more demanding it is for your computer. So maybe you just need to make the target smaller. Or maybe your computer is simply not meeting the After Effects requirements.
after I put the saber effect on & i go to put the solid on color dodge it didn’t change anything, the solid is still black and my mask has the effect on it, how do i fix it?
Sounds like you skipped the step where you apply the Saber effect to the mask. It’s dropped down menu I’m the saber effect.

You’d be surprised how quick it would be! The masking process might take you a little longer but everything else is pretty straightforward.

i have a question about the masking part. When i apply the mask and/or the saber effect on the black solid, i can only see the changes i made, when i double click on the layer of the black solid. But i when i play the video, i only see the original one without the masking effect on it.
It's hard for me to know for sure what's going on without looking at your project but, if I had to guess, I would say you probably forgot to change the layer's blending mode.

@@BeyondTheGame_E well for one it come for free as part of DaVinci Resolve even in the free version :-). It is another way of working (nodes instead of layers) which some people prefer. After googling around I found a guy who built a Saber like plugin for Fusion, ua-cam.com/video/OHayqjQ7xI4/v-deo.html

So far, every time someone told me they were stuck somewhere or the tutorial wasn’t working, we always ended up finding the thing they were doing wrong.

@@Damien-ul9mn I'm going to need more details than that if you want my help. I would suggest that you start over and go slowly step-by-step. But I'm not sure what you mean by "track the ball" by the way, I think you might talking about a different video.
you know it tracks the goal this the play pause thing it doesnt do that with the ball@@BeyondTheGame_E
@@Damien-ul9mn the AE tracker is far from perfect so, if there’s something obstructing the view of the ball for a few frames or if the ball is simply too blurry because of the motion blur when it moves, the tracker can easily lose track of it. I suggest tracking manually instead.
i did all of the steps but for some reason the saber plug in won’t download onto my windows asus. it says that it downloaded but doesn’t show up in the effects portion on adobe ae
Is your issue with the downloading or the installing process?
