In season 1 there were a few parts buildings glitching out ( this was a teaser for sys horizon map ) In season 2 there were koi fish hidden in various places of the map ( which was a teaser for Kyoto map ) So they must have put something to tease the new map in the latest update we just need to find it

I think we've had simple maps for too long, Monaco has the many map interactions and buildings and areas optimized for throwables, Seoul has buildings optimized for controlled destruction and its cranes and elevators. Skyway is a cool mix of those 2 great maps with added verticality.. Yet Vegas has seemingly nothing going for it that makes it stand out, similarly Horizon and Kyoto aswell. If Finals is returning to it's roots, we need a map that plays well into the arena interactions itself again and more importantly a map that introduces new features and interactions instead of forcing old mutators into the map without much thought. Beyond the map, we also need arena items to be useful again also. Perhaps the worst change this season was to nerf arena throwables in favour of their grenade counterparts, that combined with numerous nerfs to throwables done as a way to combat the niche strategy of "nukes" was handled very poorly, especially considering "nuke" (one-shot) attacks can be replicated easily by using gadgets and specializations. In fact, throughout many trailers in the past seasons, it seems like the focus has greatly shifted from map interactions to player gadgets overall which I think is an antithesis to the original design philosophy of the game. The entire idea that cashout was replaced by terminal attack reinforces this shift also. I think their best course of action is to return the chaos to The Finals, when I return to watch the first couple of trailers of the game, I still get the chills from how chaotic and literally explosive the gameplay is, they should buff throwables to do more direct damage, they should make maps where direct gunfire is weaker than outplaying an enemy, they should return the idea of actually having to use the map instead of spamming evasive dash in order to out-manuever the enemy, they should revert the nerfs made to throwable interactions to counter "nuking" and tackle it in a different way that doesn't outright kill the use for throwables in a match.
i agree with all of this, season 1 was the most fun the game was because of how chaotic everything was. lowkey i miss nuking i dont like how it was completely thrown out of the game because we should be able to do goofy stuff like that but obviously not on the scale to one shot people :P
Nah nukes had to go. It was fun at first but then my whole team getting one shotted over and over again felt very unhealthy for the game. I think it would be fun if they had a game mode where they brought nukes back. It would be really fun but for ranked it just made want to stop playing the game and my friend entirely skipped season two and didn’t come back till this season
@@soarcheeks9149 the post is not about whether nukes should exist, i'm saying the method they were removed ruined throwables altogether. And the throwable aka cheap nukes being gone didn't necessarily remove BS one-shot attacks from the game either. Ofcourse nukes shouldn't exist, but throwables should not be treated as a "I guess i could throw this since it's free" gimmick.
I hope the tease for the s4 map is that the maps for WT on the last week have a "sun gone" modifier where its a lot darker than night and theres a lot more lamps around the map

My humble prediction (sry if long comment): Aesthetic and lore wise: 70s/80s vaporwave/vice city/ corporate america/ madman-esque setting with a heavy lean towards the old school tv game shows and the disco era. Fits with the music too. Map: The map will be a fictional one but will include big sky scrapers and have a new York feeling (fits to the corporate/big sponsors lore side) this could also open up possibilities for new traverse gadgets, guns etc. And it could include the giant jump pad you mentioned (to get to the top of the skyscrapers) maybe the floor of one building is a disco with the classic multicolored glowing floor Skins: Heavy leaned toward disco and game show. Like Afros, big sunglasses, maybe formed like a star, suits like the famous purple one with the wide legs, the batton from the riot shield will be one of these long but thin micros gameshow hosts had in that time, some other whacky hair styles, c4 will be a suitcase to throw etc. You get the idea. I think this setting would leave a lot of options, fits lore wise with the big corporations and sponsors and skyscrapers could be pretty dope. But I can be totally wrong of course :D
I need a full auto glock for light, a m4a1 for medium, and a desert eagle for heavy. thixxy said he would love an AS Val which isnt a bad idea either for medium.

As a melee player though, I’m really hoping that their future melee weapons are built with more thought and depth to them, and that they really encourage this depth that makes weapons like the sword and dagger so fascinating and fun. Very excited for the teaser either way, and I really like how the updated voices for Scotty and June sound. Also a map in the style of Neo medieval architecture (think like that kinda mix of Confucian and sci fi architecture, but just medieval European and sci fi instead.)

I truly miss the vibe the first season had. Yes it had issues, but damn was it fun and the constant changes shook things up so much. Also, I think the new map if it is in real life could be related to rome or something of that nature, because of a new(er) namatama image, and multiple in-game items along with some other stuff.
If you remember my comment on your last video about season 3 map predictions, I pointed out all of the space related easter eggs. at the time I didn't make the connection, but embark did have a "join the discord" poster on the menu screen a little while back. In this poster, Nama Tama was in a space suite. And now that they have the Holtow ad, there most likely is a space theme in the future. If Arc Raiders and The finals are in the same universe, Space travel would be cannon, and there could possibly be a map of a future space colony. Not only would this allow the finals team to expand the variety of maps, it would also check the fictional location requirement. such a futuristic theme would make space for more advanced weapons and gadgets. I personally am hoping for a line of thermal sighted weapons as a part of a thermal rework. I hope that the lights thermal vision becomes a specialization, and that we get a rework to the lights invis that gives the light a small mesh shield that hides the light and its teammates from sight on the other side. this would give more team play to the light, and also strengthen the lights when attacking head on, while nerfing the hit-n-run play style that was originally targeted by the first invis nerf.

In one of the last matches I played in Kioto, I have found something kind strange down of one of the houses, is one of the guest house located in map layout (at least is the name that the community give it). Down the house, in the underground, there is a texture of corner that has changed, like a marble with gold, I think this is kind a hint for season 4 maybe? Like the glitches of Season 2 or the Koi fishes of Season 3, if not I'm just crazy xd
DMR type gun or something long range for the med and heavy would be nice. A tank hunter rifle (think BF1) would be sick for the heavy. High damage and crazy environment damage, but has to reload after every shot.
New Light weapon: The AR-15: an in-between the Lights two basic principles of a pistol and SMG gun type New Light Specialization: ??? New Light Gadget: ??? DMG drop off for SMGs New Medium WeaponS: AK74U = AKMU? An in between of their primary AR base and an SMG Any version of a Semi-Auto Shotgun Yes two weapons because the Medium/Heavy have 3 less than the Light class. This would help close the gap. New Gadget: Bouncing Betty Bring back Recon Senses as a specialization New Heavy weaponS: RPD An in between of the Lewis gun fire rate and accuracy and the M60 dmg Minigun Hipfire only, slower movement speed when cycling/zooming in, and longest reload. New Gadget: Semtex grenade - sticks to players and surfaces Revert accuracy or DMG nerfs to LMG. Don't need both; just one or the other. Misc. Balance changes

It would be cool to see cashout tournaments become more of a tournament then a game mode. The finals has the opportunity define their own idea of competitive gameplay, we don’t have to have ranked modes like other game do. Players should be rewarded by the quality of their games not the quantity. World tour has the potential to perfectly incorporate Mimi tournaments throughout the season that Change the way we play, making the game both competitive and casual via the type of tournament or limited time mode presented within the world tour. I’m hoping this was their vision for world tour, which would make a lot of sense.
I hear people say oh (insert game here) has limitless potential but the stands true for this game. It’s a VR game show with full destruction. They can literally add anything and do anything they want and for lore reasons it would always makes sense.
Maybe something with the dark ages? They teased medieval stuff and talking about the sun disappearing and showing darkness. It might be very indirect, but that's how they tease a lot of the time
honestly i hope we get some more wacky weapons, i mean double smgs for medium or even ars for heavy wolfeinstain stile. a crosbow for light, or even idk a crank gun for heavy like a slow firing big gatling gun

"it definitely has a following in the community" And those people are the problem. Terminal Attack isn't a mode that belongs in The Finals and that's that. It takes a fast paced, chaotic game with classes that have different roles to fit that situation, and than slows it down into a one life mode that just sucks to experience. There are other games with this style of mode, including ones based completely around it.
I feel like its safe to assume that the next specialization will be for light, since S2 was for M and S3 was for H. Also, interesting how the sun is featured in Sys$Horizon and the Japan theme overall (the land of the rising sun) My guess as to how they’ll handle CNS is that it will be like in season 1, lore pieces with cns attacks, perhaps leading to an LTM
there should be a VR shop where you can spend VR on cosmetics based on the sponsors or just cool looking cosmetics outside the regular store and battle pass that you have to spend irl money on. also bring bac throwing knives to their original greatness!
I would love to see the M get a silenced rifle like the m4a1-s in CS and the heavy get a bolt action rifle that has like 5-10 bullets. Light doesn’t need anything they’ve gotten more then enough the last few seasons

i feel like we are goif to get an overhale of different modes for maps hence the already released maps being shown and I feel like the new map is based off a game show or a couple 9f game shows
While s2 stepped away from the theme a lil bit, those songs in s2 were frickin sick and I don't care what anyone says I think Sys is one of the best maps. Plus those gadgets an weapons have all went on to become staples in the game an make it just "weird" enough to give the game a unique style unseen in any other game. The Finals ruined me. I don't think I can ever play a game without the dematerializer ever again. EDIT: New map idea, San Francisco - 2110. The san andreas fault severed the bay area from the rest of the coast an is now connected via several bridges an tubes that connect over the water in almost like a city grid pattern an that's where it takes place. Imagine like suspended structures but the side of city blocks. So at any point you could see several bridges over. Plus see thru futurearma style tunnels under the structures. Or give me any map that's like the old apex train map. That'd be rad if there was a train circling the arena that could just gun people down lol.

I'd love for a slower fire rate tactical SMG on Medium like an MP7 or something of that nature, maybe a sniper rifle for Heavy like a B50 cal w large mag so fairly spammable from the hip, and Lights something a bit further ranged, maybe an AR to help balance their kit and make everything sorta less rushy and in-your-face Also, for your point about the iseul-t Blue Coloring on the new map, I can definitely see that! I watched a video of the Open Beta cosmetics from the BP and the iseul-t outfit made its way into the S3 career circuits, however the iseul-t weapons still haven't yet so I wouldn't be surprised if those were in the BP next season or circuits, which would also tie in fairly well with the map!
I dont think Heavy should get any weapon that is accurate at a high range because it will reward break them quite a bit because of their health pull. A mini gun would be more appropriate

i wish they introduced sbmm or some other way fo rnew players to get started. i invited two irl friends to play the finals with me, we played 10 matches total across 3 days and we lost every single one. they are pretty good at fps in general, but the gadgets nad jumping around overwhelmed them. needless to say they uninstalled.
Terminal attack doesn't fit The Finals... just remove period; Leave that crap to R6. Add Solo bank it back. The world tour could just be split into non-ranked and ranked (The finals). Markers are already there.
I LOVE this game. But I hate washout. I think terminal attack makes so much more sense as a ranked game mode, no response, no healing, means more competitive, and more strategic, anyone agree or am I alone?
The simple fact that it's a 3rd person shooter kills Arc Raiders for me. Fundamentally, you can peek and see people without so much as head glitching and showing them a single pixel. It's broken as far as a competitive experience from the get go. FPS mode could be the best announcement they make
@Joelthedreamer they're the weakest class in the game, the problem is you. To be good at light you have to play at 150% all the time. That's how weak they are compared to everything else.

It would be cool to see cashout tournaments become more of a tournament then a game mode. The finals has the opportunity define their own idea of competitive gameplay, we don’t have to have ranked modes like other game do. Players should be rewarded by the quality of their games not the quantity. World tour has the potential to perfectly incorporate Mimi tournaments throughout the season that Change the way we play, making the game both competitive and casual via the type of tournament or limited time mode presented within the world tour. I’m hoping this was their vision for world tour, which would make a lot of sense.

I hear people say oh (insert game here) has limitless potential but the stands true for this game. It’s a VR game show with full destruction. They can literally add anything and do anything they want and for lore reasons it would always makes sense.

And those people are the problem. Terminal Attack isn't a mode that belongs in The Finals and that's that. It takes a fast paced, chaotic game with classes that have different roles to fit that situation, and than slows it down into a one life mode that just sucks to experience. There are other games with this style of mode, including ones based completely around it.
I feel like its safe to assume that the next specialization will be for light, since S2 was for M and S3 was for H.
Also, interesting how the sun is featured in Sys$Horizon and the Japan theme overall (the land of the rising sun)
My guess as to how they’ll handle CNS is that it will be like in season 1, lore pieces with cns attacks, perhaps leading to an LTM

The music reminds me of skylanders for some reason, so maybe a steampunk map and theme, with muskets or revolvers, or maybe some cool electric stuff
For new weapons I would love the see Light/Kriss Vector Medium/M1 Garand & Heavy/Desert Eagle
M4 for light m1 garand for med and something like the dévotion in apex for heavy could be crazy
there should be a VR shop where you can spend VR on cosmetics based on the sponsors or just cool looking cosmetics outside the regular store and battle pass that you have to spend irl money on. also bring bac throwing knives to their original greatness!
I would love to see the M get a silenced rifle like the m4a1-s in CS and the heavy get a bolt action rifle that has like 5-10 bullets. Light doesn’t need anything they’ve gotten more then enough the last few seasons

While s2 stepped away from the theme a lil bit, those songs in s2 were frickin sick and I don't care what anyone says I think Sys is one of the best maps. Plus those gadgets an weapons have all went on to become staples in the game an make it just "weird" enough to give the game a unique style unseen in any other game.
The Finals ruined me. I don't think I can ever play a game without the dematerializer ever again.
EDIT: New map idea, San Francisco - 2110. The san andreas fault severed the bay area from the rest of the coast an is now connected via several bridges an tubes that connect over the water in almost like a city grid pattern an that's where it takes place. Imagine like suspended structures but the side of city blocks. So at any point you could see several bridges over. Plus see thru futurearma style tunnels under the structures. Or give me any map that's like the old apex train map. That'd be rad if there was a train circling the arena that could just gun people down lol.
Makes me think of a dark themed season, set in nuclear winter black and white. The round shape into a square could be a rocket silo.
@@defghi23 Embark released a teaser yesterday showing it’s a futuristic map that looks very similar to the Seoul map. The round shape is a jump pad with blue balconies around it.
It looked like the teaser showed a medium holding dual pistols at the end.

The sniper is a marksman rifle I always just use it in powershift and snipe up that plat form

I'd love for a slower fire rate tactical SMG on Medium like an MP7 or something of that nature, maybe a sniper rifle for Heavy like a B50 cal w large mag so fairly spammable from the hip, and Lights something a bit further ranged, maybe an AR to help balance their kit and make everything sorta less rushy and in-your-face
Also, for your point about the iseul-t Blue Coloring on the new map, I can definitely see that! I watched a video of the Open Beta cosmetics from the BP and the iseul-t outfit made its way into the S3 career circuits, however the iseul-t weapons still haven't yet so I wouldn't be surprised if those were in the BP next season or circuits, which would also tie in fairly well with the map!
I dont think Heavy should get any weapon that is accurate at a high range because it will reward break them quite a bit because of their health pull. A mini gun would be more appropriate
@@julio1148 They could give the sniper iron sights and crazy weapon sway so it would be closer range, sorta like NLB from Destiny. I wouldn't be opposed to a minigun either!
ump-45 would be a great option for light, mp7/p90 could be good for medium. we do need more full auto weapons imho

i wish they introduced sbmm or some other way fo rnew players to get started. i invited two irl friends to play the finals with me, we played 10 matches total across 3 days and we lost every single one. they are pretty good at fps in general, but the gadgets nad jumping around overwhelmed them. needless to say they uninstalled.

Terminal attack doesn't fit The Finals... just remove period; Leave that crap to R6. Add Solo bank it back. The world tour could just be split into non-ranked and ranked (The finals). Markers are already there.

I LOVE this game. But I hate washout. I think terminal attack makes so much more sense as a ranked game mode, no response, no healing, means more competitive, and more strategic, anyone agree or am I alone?

The simple fact that it's a 3rd person shooter kills Arc Raiders for me. Fundamentally, you can peek and see people without so much as head glitching and showing them a single pixel. It's broken as far as a competitive experience from the get go. FPS mode could be the best announcement they make

@Joelthedreamer they're the weakest class in the game, the problem is you. To be good at light you have to play at 150% all the time. That's how weak they are compared to everything else.
