Thank you for your effort and time making this vira setup video! This was exactly what I've been looking for among my twitter x and youtube searches for vira stuff!
hey, i just got to s with Vira and these look sweet. i have a question since you seem to know a lot about her. when i land a hit from mid screen is it best to just do an auto combo into tripple strikes or heavy back special? I'm super muscle memoried into heavy back special but i never see anyone use it in combo.
From midscreen, I'd end the combo in either neutral special L if you want to keep them close, neutral special M if you want to send them far away and maybe setup luminiara, or back special light for some carry. If you're close enough to the corner you can do neutral special H to get a wall bounce and run up to continue the combo. You can also still end in back special H cause it does get you some good screen carry. It mostly is up to you. If you want to save your cooldown try to end in a non H special though
@@piglou7232 I see, another question I have is what do I do against an opponent that just sits there blocking low. I read that 214m is plus and allows you to continue but I literally always get jabbed out of it by anyone in s+. Is grabbing all I can do at that point until I'm in install?
@@vennin7781 If someone's just sitting and blocking, you should try going for throws even though they do less damage. But, after you condition them to start reacting to throw, you can delay button or shimmy and hit their throw tech. If they mash on 214m, you can frame trap by using 236L in place of 214m since it has a small gap after canceling into it from a normal
@@piglou7232 Thanks for the help, its really appreciated. It feels like Vira is really hard to make work when your opponent knows how to fight her. It feels like i need to be in install to do normal damage and out of install i feel like I'm chipping people lol. ill just have to practice i guess.
Yeah ult dp works. You can also guard cancel but if the vira player reads it with a spot dodge after the right hit then you'll get punished by luminiara. The other option is to get the fuzzy block timing correct on the triple attack low and overhead, but then the vira is still plus.

@@vennin7781 yeah getting used to the character is definitely important, you'll get used to her eventually. Glad I could help
I'm guessing ult dp is the only way out since that beats safejabs?

What rank are you?
Thanks for asking. I am a humble master rank Vira player on Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising.
