Oh I didn’t realize it was possible for fungal infections to keep coming back. I assumed it was like once it’s gone you’re good. I’m going to be more cautious of my toe nail care just in case.
Ive been fighting it all my life, fungus dies and comes back, dies & comes back again, Ive tried the oral medication the one that you have to have the liver ckd, used that for 2 yrs, used it for a yr skipped a yr and used it again no luck. So yeah and its only on my 2 big toe nails, I just trimmed them this morning since they have a bump and it was lifting the nail up so it would hurt while wearing my boots. I did "diged" the thick area with nail clippers and used oregano oil but Ill see how it works.
i bought the Dremel Nail Grinder it has like 9 different attachments…you have to research so you learn how to grind them down..the machine spins in both directions ..i’m still researching little by little .
What is in the liquid you spray with before using the Dremel? What precautions does the clinician need to take other than the spray to ensure they don't get the clients fungus?
I have been dealing with nail fungus in my big toe for 40 years. The nail came off about three years ago and it grew back misshapen and rough. It recently got to be almost a quarter inch thick and was only partially attached at the bottom. Last night I cut it back to near the base and took a Dremel tool and reduced the thickness. I wasn't sure how far l could get close to the underlying skin. So l stopped. I also saw a doctor's video that said he cured his toenail fungus using a 50/50 mix of bleach and water. I am trying that now.
Hello Bryan, is this fungus only on your big toe? I have the same problem and i've had it for only over a year now after being discharged from the army, i'm sure i got it from wearing boots all day every day.
Same me only big toe 😢, I’ve had it for about 7 years now because a trauma on it and I’m trying NONYX currently ,I hope it works I been watching a lot of good reviews and pictures (before and after ) and looks like it works 😢.
Terbinafine (Lamisil) pills. It’s the only thing that works. I took them for 4 months back in 2018. My toenails had been infected for years prior to this and the pills are the only thing that cleared it up.
This is helpful, my current Dr did not give me a referral to a podiatrist, nor did she take care of any of the nail work. My nails did not look this bad however the Dr prescribed terbinafine, oral. I think I should actually have a podiatrist look at my feet.
I have the same problem. Wenn you have removed the nail. The next Growing nail will be have fungus. Because the infection is in your body. With heavy medicines you have a change to stop it. But is very unhealty for your liver.😢
They numb the foot pretty well but the numbing process is discomforting for a min or so. Then they wait like 10 mins and remove it with clippers otherwise yeah it would be excruciatingly painful.
I don't know if they do, I did it myself though I have a real steady hand and a high pain tolerance. I mean I have sutured myself with no anesthetic. I have been seeing great progress after grinding it down on my own and applying colloidal silver and pure turpentine. DO NOT go to the hardware store to buy the turpentine, it has to be pure distilled pine sap (I buy from Creekwood Natural). Before you go full on with his treatment test the turp on a small portion of your body to make sure you don't react negatively. though there are many remedies, this is the one i'm sticking with considering I have gained 3/16 of an inch of healthy nail since I started a month and a half ago. and mine looked like this fella's.
@@Shan_Tiel It's not numbed, the infected nail is dead and detached, they remove the damaged part and leave the little bit that isn't, then treat what's left. Doesn't work for most fungus and you can rally hurt the nail bed if you don't know what you're doing. Most people don't have the right tools or skills.
I did it myself with a rotary grinder. Actually, it's a chainsaw sharpener (Stihl) with a round grinding stone on the tip. Didn't hurt at all, and yeah, I was a little scared, waiting for it to hit a nerve, but it never did. I ground the nail off clean and have been applying athletes foot cream medication daily. Nail is growing back very well😊
@@lexkanyima2195 about 2-3 weeks if you apply daily, I would guess. I did not apply each and every day so it might have taken longer. Forgetfulness. Look it up on UA-cam, there are several videos on Vicks VapoRub and toenail fungus. Might be on Google too. Practically disappears before your eyes. I would say apply for a few days after symptoms disappear, just in case.
I plan to do this process at home with an electric nail file and urea cream. Is there anything i need to know to prevent infection? My patient has MS and will not go to a doctor, but its crucial he doesnt develop further infection.
Always grow back worse - now getting relief with putting Kurkuma (Tumeric) Powder mixed with same amount Coconut oil mixed with some drops of Olive Leaf plus Oregano Oil - Infection of the Nail bed gone and nail start to grow healthy - put the past 2-3 times a day on my nails and nail bed and under the top - before I tried everything
Being homeless doesn't help. Summer is easier to treat it but winter?? Humidity, wearing same shoes everyday, sleeping outside in cold wearing socks (feet cannot breathe)..
If available to you, you could try using a high percentage of urea gel (40-50%) to soften and thin out the nail and salicylic acid serum to kill the fungus
It's not, I used a Stihl chainsaw sharpener. On my big toe, ground the entire nail off myself. Oh, it's a rotary, like the one in the video, only larger, with a stone grinding tip.
@@JANN-ul9pb As you're grinding the nail away, the friction does generate heat so when you get close to the nerve endings, you'll sense the heat and you back away. It was painless for me

I’d love to see a follow up video to see how they healed up because my nail has grown back a dozen times and the fungus never dies
Try Vicks vapour rub, it works like magic on toenail fungus. Good overall for foot fungi.

So much professionalism
Once the infected nail is removed, do you ever put acrylic on to give a full nail and protect the top of the toe?
This is so helpful ❤

@MoxmOne Yes thank goodness it is only the big toe.
I tried 100% bleach, no water added. it does NOT work☹

Soak the toes and fingers in the baking soda with warm water, slightly brush with a toothbrush. I did that then no more funguses.

Why not do this, instead of using a medication for months, unless that is ALSO required.
