Btw it's not only the trees. You can purposely set cities and forests on fire to damage the units in it and even open pathways. Three Kingdoms has pretty cool sieges actually
Attila also had the settlement destruction mechanic, certain units with the “raider” trait would randomly chuck torches at the buildings as they ran around the city lol
They're so cool that you can layer enough arrows into a single unit that there's no grass left to stand on and still not do enough damage to kill them.
