HI Mat thanks for participation in the box making challenge what a great box you made , and you had 8 times the fun doing it too now you know why i have so much fun when i am making my boxes in my shed , i love the process of dreaming up a box then going out and making them your videos come up great i am slowly getting better at making them keep up the good work cheers dassh
It does pop ;) That was a lot of fun. Sadly my box(es) were not ready in time and ironically the SawStop was to blame in part as i needed to get that video done first ;)
It really was fun. So much so I am currently trying a mass production run but have made the parts smaller and the smaller you make it the harder it is to make. I have been thinking of you and those apothecary drawers you made.
Great looking box. I like the order you built it in with the rebates (I don't mind rabbets) cut before the glue up. Subscribed for more videos, that sawstop looks amazing even for the smallest of tasks.
Thanks Ben, I appreciate that. and yeah the sawstop is pretty amazing, I recon i could make this same box wholly with that saw and that would be a cool challenge.
HOORAY!!! So great to hear that you Mat know your English language too, it sends me round the twist watching woodworking videos and the presenter say I'm just going to cut a rabit or rabbit it's a bloody rebate a rabit or rabbit is a small fluffy animal 🐇🐰most children want as a pet that breeds at an unbelievable rate and it normally lives in a field not a piece of bloody wood grrr. So sorry Mat I just had to get that out as for the box mate the entry is looking good. What do you think of your new toys ?. As alway's buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
Thanks Simon, I have to say the fluffy animal because 90% of my viewers are from the US and i have to be careful talking measurements too. But yeah, anyway, the saws cut perfectly and i have not even installed my fine-tooth blades yet, still using the stock blades. And now that they are setup, it is like a dream. My last saw had a broken fence and took ages between cuts. i have gone from the most dangerous saw on the internet to the safest one. It is weird watching the video and seeing the sawstop in my shop.
Lovely box mate! You've got some shiny new things in your shed too, awesome! What became of your old table saw? I really do love the look of the saw stop! Hope you're well mate, got a bit of catching up to do on your videos, absolutely hectic here until Christmas! Cheers
Thanks Sam, i am really well and firing and hope you are too. The old saw was sold, and the guy gave me a the toughest hardwood i had ever seen to cut as a demo, obviously it passed. Nearly covered the cost of the sawstop optional extra wheels lol

Thanks Dassh, I firmly believe in making the creative process enjoyable and just aim to do it a little better every time.
I'm not a woodworker but enjoy watching your channel. Keep 'em coming Mat!
Thanks Shawn, I really appreciate that. and yep, the camera is not going to stop rolling. 🎥
Lovely little box mate. Totally agree about working without plans and using the thicknesser to remove paint 😁
Thanks Vic, that means a lot to me.
I've never had so much fun in my workshop, but I had more fun with the Austin Power video from last time... Lasersharks!!! 🦈 lol
Thanks, But that saw looks so much like a shark with a laser on its head, I just had to do it. :)
Almost a movie star 👍. Keep up with the great content Matt✅
Thanks, almost haha, I'm just ramping up. Got three videos in the works and one is a really big one with an irresistible thumbnail.
Nice box!
Thanks I love it!

@@Saw-IT hahaha big things tend to be much easier than little ones 😁
very cute little box indeed. and the compound angles make it quite challenging.
good to see you have added these top shelf new saws to your arsenal.
It sure is good not fight with the tools and concentrate on making something.
Great build liked and subscribed, loved the humour, have a great crimbo
Thank you very much for the feedback Sandman, that made my day. Have a great Crimbo too !
Has Santa been delivering those new saws to your shed early? Lovely little box mate. Lots of fun had by the looks of it. 👍
Thanks Santa really has been generous this year but my wife said i have blown every Christmas for the next decade.
