But, there are other multi purpose tools that are great for home, DIY use; whether for small house repairs or larger home improvement projects. The multi head screwdriver featured in this video is just such a tool. Mr. 7 Hands may not be a household name, but this little handy multi bit screwdriver type tool is great to have in any living space for a quick tighten / loosen here and there for both flat head and philips screwdriver head types.
One great thing about this little multitool before getting into the specifics is the built-in flashlight. It's not the most powerful flashlight, but it's great in a bind and perfect to find the hole in the deeper sockets in certain devices or in dark spaces like under the kitchen sink or bathroom sinks. The little LED flashlight portion works off of 2 AAA batteries that are easily replaced. The battery compartment is under the belt clip where the on/off button is. Again, not the brightest LED flashlight in the world, but definitely worth having in a multi tool of this size and price range.
The tool is made by Durabuilt and is the Mr. 7 Hands model. It's deemed as the all-in-one multi-tool and flashlight. It has 3 sizes of flathead screwdriver head bits and 3 sizes of Philips screwdriver bit heads. Also included is a precision screwdriver sized jewelers or eyeglass screwdrive head in both the main types. This is great for those small jobs. So, it's like having 8 different sized bits or heads in one small, compact screwdriver set.
Things always need repair in homes, apartments, dorms, and other living spaces. This is especially true of things that are used everyday like drawers, cabinet doors, lamps, chairs, etc... This is where a hand multitool like the one featured here can come in handy. Sure, this tool isn't made of the best quality and the plastic case won't withstand lots of force like say a Ridgid, Milwaukee, Ryobi or even a Bosch multi tool, but it's definitely one of the best multi tool products for the money for small around-the-house fixes.
