I like this because she limits things nicely and recognizes that she could cut down but still uses some things that are pleasing to her. She has a great balance going on in my opinion
great video! but protip, you should place your toothbrush in the mirror cabinet. i dunno if you flush with toilet seat down, but obviously the particles kinda goes everywhere when you do so (which you know bc you can smell it haha) so it's more hygenic to keep your tooth brush in a 'closed off' space. just an idea lol
Earth Angel . U have a beautiful voice and you shpuld bless the one above for it! And never forget about the ppl who can't talk and how much they would wish to have any kind of voice. And what's wrong with ur voice anyways?? To me it's soothing and very relaxing and also very clear. So u can feel 💯 percent confident!!!!!👌
you can use a sample paint pot, so you're not stuck with a large pot of paint. Or if you or a friend has some leftover paint, maybe see if you can use that? :)
I’ve never seen a little bidet like that! I’ll have to look for one. I think I’m going to start using cloth too. I use cloth wipes for my baby, so I’m already doing that sort of laundry anyway.
I think you'd like some of the products that LUSH sell, if you're trying to be zero waste. You can buy soaps and shampoo bars from Lush without any packaging. All of their black tubs are recycled too!
Earth Angel that’s why I never use only paper tissues!!! Water water water! And then dry is a must. Fresh and clean! I can’t imagine, periods, poops, with pee and no water!
Good video, however I have two suggestions. 1. Never leave your toothbrushes on a countertop or shelf near the toilet. Every time you flush sewer gases are created and fecal matter lands on the heads of your brushes. If you do leave them out, cover them or put them in a drawer or your medicine cabinet. 2. Soak your toothbrushes head down in a recycled glass container with hydrogen peroxide monthly. This disinfect and cleans your brush heads, and also lengthens the life of them.
I'm so happy I found your channel! You've just gained yourself a new subscriber. I know that you're a small UA-camr, but I think you've started off with a great foundation to your channel. I hope one day you're as successful as you want your channel to be! As a fellow UA-camr, I know growing on YT can be frustrating but you're doing a great job at producing great content, babe! If you have the desire to, I would love if you came and checked out my channel so we can support each other. It is all about zero waste and veganism. We smaller UA-camrs need to stick together! ❤️💪
I want to be a minimalist and a vegan but I'm 15 and I live with an older brother, a younger sister & parents. I find it incredibly hard to minimise the things I own especially when I see ALOT of other things around my house because of my family. Any tips? Xx
I am at the same stage as you with the minimalism but I can't give up the earbuds, I use them everytime I wash my hair so only twice a week. Have you heard of Norwex? Norwegian company that sells household products to reduce chemicals in your home and thus the environment. I am a consultant for them which I joined in September after using a few of their products for 5 months. Their cleaning cloths are great and only use water, I have also begun to use their washing powder, 1 teaspoon per load and white wine vinegar for the softener. All comes out a treat. Like you I use their cloths to remove make up. Take a look at them online or there's plenty of UA-cam videos about Norwex, they are very new in the UK. Where did you get the rubbing alcohol from please? I wanted to make my own air freshener with essential oils and needed some but couldn't get any in the chemists, I'm sure they thought I wanted to drink it!! I also have an electric toothbrush but I don't think I could give it up, my teeth would definitely go down hill. Thanks for a great video, I am glad there's other like minded people. xxx
I love it! I’ve made the switch to a smaller laundry pail and it’s made a massive difference in my life as a mommy!!!! Thank you for the video! You’re an amazing lady for sure!!!!! When you’ve gone through your lipsticks, one may make a lovely lip stick through simple kitchen staples! I’ve even used tiny fragments of blush that would’ve been tossed out as a tinted gloss when I added it (crushed) to coconut oil! Keep up the amazing work! Love it!
What is that pink bottle you said is like a bidet? I'm super curious about it. I've always been interested in bidets since they sound like they're more through for cleaning.
Just found this vlogg. My electric toothbrush heads are changed every 4-5 months. Can you share your home made face cleanser and tooth paste please. You are beautiful don’t knock yourself
Thank you for your videos which I have just found. Have you tried Faith in Nature products, they are vegan, British made and very reasonably priced. I have seen these for sale in Oxfam shops and discounted in TK Max. When I can afford it I will order washing up liquid, laundry liquid and bath and shower gel in the 5 litre container with pump dispenser to save buying plastic bottles.
Josie I’m lucky enough to be able to buy laundry liquid, washing up liquid, multi purpose cleaner and fabric softener in bulk. I have seen the faith in nature products but don’t use them as I’m happy with one product for everting. Lovely to have you on board. X
i was thinking about doing something like this...thinking it, haven't even searched it online and now this video (super niche video) is on my recommend....WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
This is great progress! I really like a lot of the ideas you've made. I might try your cleanser recipe. By the way a tip about the toothbrushes maybe you might want to move them to a enclosed area or out of the bathroom as the toilet flushing can spread a lot of bacteria. And love the bidet and basket with flannels idea. As a muslim, we always have a water pot as we wash with water after going to the toilet but the cloth part has been challenging because of the bacteria spreading for same reasons as toothbrush, because I used to hang up a towel. But your idea seems much better. And I agree with those who say soak your stool in hot soapy water and vinegar. Also you can use a baking soda and olive oil mixed paste to scrub off stubborn bits with a metallic scrubber.
Trevor, I use terry washclothes made of bamboo fibre, They are soft and work quite well. I have never seen anything like these so I made mine myself, there are sellers on etsy where you can buy the material.
It would make her feel better though. I mean if you go for minimalism you can at least go for stuff that is not only useful but also makes you happy. The sticker annoys her so if she got the sticker removed, she'd be happier. Putting some color on might make it pretty - even if she's the only person seeing this stool, it's pretty for her.
Noslo well young i was young i only wear on weekends because i cant wear make up in an asian school , so they tend to . I still kept my old makeup ( i dont use i just lazy to throw it away) from 2011.
I don't know if she'd be willing to reach in the bowl to get it. Kidding, but it is a good idea. Or finding some stick paper from something else and putting it on there.
You're right about the Braun electric toothbrush - they do do a better job of cleaning. But the heads only need to be changed every 6 months. If you're not using it much, I'd say you can drag that out and just freshen it up with some grain alcohol or vodka - which is what your should be using to clean your tongue cleaner - NOT isopropyl. Isopropyl alcohol is very toxic! it's fine to use it to clean your mirrors with but not the tongue cleaner you put in your mouth. Hope this helps. It looks like you've made a ton of swaps in your bathroom - well done! You've even eliminated what most women never can from their bathroom - the husband.. lol. I'm betting a ton of other women watching were wondering how you managed that one... too funny. You're adorable. Thanks so much for sharing! Cheers.
Mony's cell Thank you for the advise. I won’t be buying any more rubbing alcohol when this is all gone - I find I can tell how toxic something is by the smell now and this smells strong. I will see if I can eek my toothbrush heads out to 6 months next year (this one is 4 months old now) I do use it twice a day minimum but the bristles are still pretty ok. Re my husband - we are just lucky enough to have 4 bathrooms and 4 people living here, when my eldest daughter got married and moved out I took over her room and en suite 😊 I love having my own space.
Can you please come teach my husband how to ring the bowl? Do you have a problem with your husband using your deodorant? because I think my hubby secretly loves women's deodorant.
+H Yeah - Mouthwash is fine - there's nothing wrong with alcohol if it's a pure food grade alcohol. But isopropyl is NOT food grade so it doesn't belong in the mouth. Hydrogen peroxide is ok too but be aware that the stuff sold in the drugstore is also not food grade hydrogen peroxide, but not as bad as isopropyl. Either way, you'll want to rinse well. I've heard much said about the alcohol in mouthwash not being good for dental care. They use it of course to ensure that bacteria doesn't grow in the mouthwash. They tried removing it a few years ago and ended up having to recall the product. Just goes to show it's best to make it yourself at home or skip it altogether. Just another product they try to convince us we "need" so they can sell us more crap and get more of our hard earned money. Hope this helps!
+ Susie Ballard - I can only offer a theory in regards to your deodorant dilemma.. lol.. I doubt that your husband harbours any strange fetishes or likes women's deodorants in general, in case that was what was troubling you. Instead, I suspect that he "steals" your deodorant because he misses you and in using your deodorant he can in essence carry your scent with him. I think that's so sweet and the only reason I can conceive. You could always test the theory.. Good luck! :-)
honestly i think everyone should use some form of bidet. people think it's nasty to use washable wipes for going pee but isn't it even nastier walking around having only wiped with dry paper?
Polly P. Coming from an arab culture i was raised to wash my arse after shitting, a few times ive had to shit in public and it's just awful, no matter how much i wipe my ass itches like fuck, it smells and is nastyyy
You can buy a super cheap bidet on Amazon about 20-40 USD! It doesn't use electricity and hooks up to the back of the toilet. No plumber needed. Anyone can install it. Even a child.
You can remove the sticker by dabbing some oil on it and leave it on for a few hours. It will come off easily. I use organic olive oil and then wash off with warm water to get rid of the oily feeling.
Hello. My name is carson. I'm looking for any advice for people wanting to live as waste free as possible (while still not being of age to move out (being 15 sucks, ya know!)). Is there any advice that you could give someone unable to make too many changes for physical or financial reasons? (not physical for me, but someone might see it and i want them to be included).
If you soak that lable in vinegar it might come off the folding stool. I have had a lot of success with vinegar soaking for getting off stubborn lables.
Thank you for sharing! Since you have some essential oils, if you have lemon that might take the sticker residue off without needing to purchase a special product for it :)
I think it's fine to keep the electric toothbrush. The heads can last a really long time if you don't press too hard (the turning of the bristles means that you don't need to really press them). The heads really should last quite a while.
How do you manage to not have so much laundry? I feel like I don’t change my clothes all the time but by the end of the week my laundry hamper (it’s twice the size of yours) is overflowing!
Removing pressure-sensitive adhesive labels is part of my job..for the sticker on your stool try scratching over the top of the carrier material and rubbing it with an oil based or alcohol based substance (depends on the type of adhesive as to which one will work best). Leave it for a short time and it should scrape right off! 😊
Have you ever heard of enjo? It's an eco-friendly cleaning company and they use no chemicals at all, it's just the gloves and water. They're very good for washing and although they're a bit expensive it's definitely worth it.
I thought you meant ear buds like headphones that go in your ear! 🎧 it's funny how different people call the same thing a different name. Funny meaning interesting and what not.
Where I'm from they're called Q-tips. That is the most common brand and so that is what everyone calls them. I've never heard them called anything besides Q-tips and the generic term, cotton swabs
What did the giraffe say to the Doctor? Idk either In England the most popular brand of this product is Johnson's Baby Buds, so this is probably the cause of the difference you are seeing. They also recently changed the stick part from plastic to paper and that makes me happy 😊
Katie M that makes me happy too! They still sell the plastic ones in the USA and it makes me sad. There is no purpose for it. No one needs to shove it in their ear anyways lol. The paper sticks should be strong enough for almost anything!
I have a question! I see you are refilling jars rather than having loads of plastic bottles - what are you buying the original products in? Any brands that don't use plastic packaging so you can recycle the original containers easily?
I just thought I’d tell you that you can buy earbuds with bamboo sticks rather than plastic! It’s so much better for the environment. You can buy the, online. Thought you’d be interested :)
I like this because she limits things nicely and recognizes that she could cut down but still uses some things that are pleasing to her. She has a great balance going on in my opinion
Bailey Elizabeth | Exactly. I mean strictly speaking, you don’t have to shower daily either, but it’s nice to do so.
I don’t understand why you don’t feel attractive, you’re very pretty!
4:35 - im a bit lazy . "makes homemade toothpaste and deodorant"
Whats wrong with that?
great video! but protip, you should place your toothbrush in the mirror cabinet. i dunno if you flush with toilet seat down, but obviously the particles kinda goes everywhere when you do so (which you know bc you can smell it haha) so it's more hygenic to keep your tooth brush in a 'closed off' space. just an idea lol
Its her toothbrush she can keep it wherever she wants
Her voice is so pretty
Thank you. like most people, I don't like my own voice.
Earth Angel awe it's so pretty I love it!
Her voice would be so soothing to listen to if it was an audiobook
Its relaxing to hear her talking
Earth Angel . U have a beautiful voice and you shpuld bless the one above for it! And never forget about the ppl who can't talk and how much they would wish to have any kind of voice.
And what's wrong with ur voice anyways?? To me it's soothing and very relaxing and also very clear. So u can feel 💯 percent confident!!!!!👌
Paint your folding stool! When there's a sticker that I cant remove I just paint it over or put nice little decorations on it ❤
Amanda Ramos that's the first thing I thought when I saw it! Lol
You should just paint and decorate the stool!
Angelique Deittrick Good idea, it serves a purpose so I put up with the ugliness of it.
you can use a sample paint pot, so you're not stuck with a large pot of paint. Or if you or a friend has some leftover paint, maybe see if you can use that? :)
Thanks to you I found Who Gives a Crap TP. I have it on auto reorder. Nice neat bathroom 👍🏼
Beatrice Martin Fabulous, I have converted 3 friends to Who gives a crap too. It feels good to spread the word.
I’ve never seen a little bidet like that! I’ll have to look for one. I think I’m going to start using cloth too. I use cloth wipes for my baby, so I’m already doing that sort of laundry anyway.
I’ve never watched a bathroom tour before but this one is definitely the best...
I think you'd like some of the products that LUSH sell, if you're trying to be zero waste. You can buy soaps and shampoo bars from Lush without any packaging. All of their black tubs are recycled too!
The bidet bottle!!!! Amazing, I need one of those! Seems much more refreshing than paper anyway
Kattunge once you get into the habit of using it you will feel dirty if you don’t.
Where did you buy that bottle from??
Earth Angel that’s why I never use only paper tissues!!! Water water water! And then dry is a must. Fresh and clean! I can’t imagine, periods, poops, with pee and no water!
Great video! I like how you are not completely zero waste but you are mostly.
You're very beautiful. I love your efforts
You should try to paint your stool!! Make it pretty for yourself :) you could decorate it however you want!
Spray paint or decoupage your step stool...even glitter over with clear coat...or spray paint then personalize with acrylic paint and clear coat 👍
I use a Foreo toothbrush! It’s the Issa, it’s silicone, and you only replace the heads once a year!! Kind of expensive, well worth it IMO.
You might want to look into getting a removable bidet it would probably be a lot easier than the bottle. They aren't very expensive on Amazon.
How many times will you use your towel before washing? Love your videos, very inspiring!!!!!!
It's all very clean as well. This is very inspirational.
You seem (and sound) like such a sweet person☺️
Thank you.
You could paint the stool. Or use stickers or sticky shelf paper on it

Thanks for a great video, I am glad there's other like minded people. xxx
you could look for the alcohol at shops that sell stuff for camping as there are cookstoves running on alcohol
I bought it from Superdrug
Mary Freeman I haven’t heard of Norwex, I’ll check them out. I think I got the rubbing alcohol from a local hardware store.
I love it! I’ve made the switch to a smaller laundry pail and it’s made a massive difference in my life as a mommy!!!! Thank you for the video! You’re an amazing lady for sure!!!!! Brooke Poeschl I don’t have any blusher but I will certainly look into making my own lipstick.
This is incredible!
You can take the sticker off by putting some orange essential oil on it!
I think it's strange that she makes her own toothpaste and deodorant but it's so amazing how she does it she really helpful to the envioment
What is that pink bottle you said is like a bidet? I'm super curious about it. I've always been interested in bidets since they sound like they're more through for cleaning.
Which is from “ who gives a crap “ 🤣 had me dying
It's super nice!
Youre insanely cute and I love how organized you are! 👌
i love your face cream and foundation idea, seems like something id do!
I use q-tips (earbuds-which is what Americans call headphones, lol) to dry my ears. Otherwise I will get so many ear infections due to my scarring.
if you soak your little stool in hot hot water & get a sponge with a rough side to it & just scrape the sticker off in the hot water it’ll come off (:
Just found this vlogg. My electric toothbrush heads are changed every 4-5 months.
Can you share your home made face cleanser and tooth paste please.
You are beautiful don’t knock yourself
Paint the thing you dont like with spray paint! So you can chose a color you like
Hiya dear try using 'goo gone' to get that sticker off, wash it with some warm water to he!p ease it off
How soapy water will get that sticker off of your stool! ♥️
Aw, you're pretty! You don't need makeup, but if it makes you happy-- go for it! It's great you're transitioning
You can get the sticker off the stool easily with nail polish remover.
So nice, good ideas thank you
I wish I had my own bathroom so I don’t have to deal with my brothers messiness
Nice bathroom. This isn't zero waste but all u can do is try our best :)
Thanks for showing us your bathroom! Love the video! :)
i was thinking about doing something like this...thinking it, haven't even searched it online and now this video (super niche video) is on my recommend....WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
You're awesome!
From Social Repose to toilet- not surprised:D
Why not paint the stool?
Use hot water to get the sticker of the stool
Also you can use a baking soda and olive oil mixed paste to scrub off stubborn bits with a metallic scrubber.
it looks like a normal bwthroom
Bathroom tour? wowowowow
Thank you
She has no sanitary towels or anything like that. Idk if she still needs that kind of stuff but you'd thing she would have some
EJ Fenderson she'd probably use the menstrual cup tho...
You can get a hose for your toilet!
*has sink dripping
Why’s microfibre bad? Sorry I’m new to this lol
Me too XD
Microfiber is not a natural fiber so it is not biodegradable. It contains plastic fibers which is bad for the environment.
It's not biodegradable and also it releases fibers into the water supply and the ocean when you wash it
What do you buy instead of microfiber?
Trevor, I use terry washclothes made of bamboo fibre, They are soft and work quite well. I have never seen anything like these so I made mine myself, there are sellers on etsy where you can buy the material.
Zero waste in the bathroom, that's the most ironic thing I've ever heard.
betterthanbasic skek same thing I was thinking 😂
Ha ha, it took me a minute to catch on there.
Earth Angel It is very inspirational though!
😂🤣
How did i get to this video
leyla leduc I got here from watching krist soup😂😭💀
leyla leduc same
leyla leduc A G R E E D
Came here from how American accents sound to The French 😂
leyla leduc by clicking on it
You could totally paint the little folding stool!
or turn it around so you cant see the sticker.....................
My aunt told me to use WD40 to get tricky stickers off.
WD40 is magic. Way less elbow grease than rubbing alcohol- but she does already have alcohol and it is an aerosol so probably not.
Jessica Stroud exactly who's going to see u on it she said it's her private bathroom
Is 'who gives a crap' a toilet paper brand? 😂😂
carly Anne yes
carly Anne It should be
Abby Hall It is!
Some brans are more environmentally friendly than others.
The plastic makeup cases can totally be reusable, especially if you make your own clean, sensitive cosmetics
Onyx Helena Ember-Graves hello i love your profile pic!!
Never keep make up for more than 5 years pls
Or over the expiration date
Takami Chika I have 50 yr old make up that was my great grandmother's. (I don't use it)
Really, 5? I understood that it was one to two years? (Esthetics student, still in early stages)
s731s is usually is, 5 Years is really pushing it. You aren’t wearing much makeup if it lasts that long
Noslo well young i was young i only wear on weekends because i cant wear make up in an asian school , so they tend to . I still kept my old makeup ( i dont use i just lazy to throw it away) from 2011.
Try to get rid of sticker with nail polish remover or oil, if you would like to :)
You can also remove the sticky layer left behind with lighter petrol
TinyShiny Star84 or rubbing alcohol
Use isacole
Koshka219 y
I use Brillo pads
you can paint your stool!
I don't know if she'd be willing to reach in the bowl to get it.
Kidding, but it is a good idea. Or finding some stick paper from something else and putting it on there.
Ping Robert it will flake off
iwillrocksomeday lol!
Devynn Kliner there are a "million" different kinds of paint!
Which stool 😂😂😂

Can you please come teach my husband how to ring the bowl?

You can buy a super cheap bidet on Amazon about 20-40 USD! It doesn't use electricity and hooks up to the back of the toilet. No plumber needed. Anyone can install it. Even a child.
Don't worry about other people honestly. Worry about yourself.
wonderfully organized and simple, love it
Cait G Thank you. I love it too, anything to make life simpler.
You can get the sticker off your stool with a product called 'Goo gone'
fish oil works a treat as well. rough up the sticker area and re-apply as needed :D
Another option for removing stickers is lemon essential oil, it's similar to Goo Gone which I think uses orange oil.
Not to be confused with goof off! Goo gone is great goof off is dangerous and can explode if heated too much.
Jessi B name stealer
Ahh, goo gone smells absolutely horrid
You can remove the sticker by dabbing some oil on it and leave it on for a few hours. It will come off easily. I use organic olive oil and then wash off with warm water to get rid of the oily feeling.
very nice!! Inspiring :)

I’m really very interested in where you got your laundry hamper, would love to try and find one.
If you soak that lable in vinegar it might come off the folding stool. I have had a lot of success with vinegar soaking for getting off stubborn lables.
The bathroom is very simple. Yet aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
i think it would be fun if yiu paintd the stool to make it look nicer:)
This is truly inspiring!! Keep up the good work and thanks for doing your part for our planet 🌎
This is so pure and absolutely adorable
Alcohol will take the sticker off that stool. Also they can be spray painted with the new plastic sprays.
If you use mac products they recycle the plastic and glass for you. For future if you want more eco friendly makeup.
To get the sticker off on the stool - try rubbing alcohol!
You can buy earbuds which have cardboard instead of plastic
Bee Yes you can, these are made of paper and go on my compost pile.
Why do you have bath salts if you don't have a bath? Do you use them in the shower?
kari KF they are probably for foot soaking
This is a very good video. It's more realistic than a lot of minimalism and eco friendly videos, and it is straight to the point.
Use baby oil to get the sticker off! You can also use that hack for the annoying bandage residue, really anything sticky.
You are so cute! I love this bathroom!
