I always travel with my IPad. Not because I have children, but because I always end up getting a seat next to a baby and an IPad ALWAYS gets and keeps their attention, much relief to their parent(s).

This trip has taught you. both things to do for next time flying long distances. It's a learning process (trust me) that all parents encounter. How else would we learn? All babies are so different (esp at different ages) that some do well in their early months, middle months & toddler ages & up. You can never predict what will happen. Also I agree with your husband. That if it means traveling again at the same age , it will be so worth it! Why? Because you are visiting family, love ones, who are all so excited to see not only their grandchild, but family as well. Nothing (family) is more important than that. I can only image the sadness your parents felt as you left. I hope you both have been able to catch up in your sleep. Blessed Sunday!

I've traveled with newborns, toddlers and four and five year olds. It was difficult 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. I would do it again 🙂 Now I prefer to drive and I like it very much for them to stretch their legs and sleep. As she gets older it will become easier for you. You gave great tips that I already implemented over the years. I pack very little and buy and leave an average amount. It's made things easier for us. Glad you made it home safe. Fanta, you are almost a world traveler. 👶 I also think you were crying when the airplane ascended because of the ear pressure. That really hurts. I chew gum real hard. I am 84 (soon 85) and there is no chance of me flying with a baby; however I enjoyed your video from beginning to end. It was informative nd I truly enjoy being a part of your experiences.💕💕🙏🙏🌹🌹

babies aaaalways cry on planes, regardless of time of day. i feel that night flights with a baby are worse for yourselves and everyone else around you hahaha
Wait till she’s a toddler. Those flight are harder. They are on the move even more. Babies are easier than toddlers. And when you travel with a toddler and a baby. Oh I miss those days….NOT. But it’s life and we have funny horror stories to tell 😅later
