Biden shut that down thus causing the pending lowering of crude oil prices to not happen. Transportation of crude oil by rail was and still is more expensive than by pipeline. Biden’s cancellation of the construction permit not only cost the loss of 10,000+ great paying jobs but it forced the price of petroleum products to rise. That’s a trigger for increased inflation which immediately did occur.
You can say that that decision was good for the environment but it was and still is a heavy financial burden that the average American citizen can ill afford.
