The amount of people in the comments who enjoyed the literal crossfade at 12:08 (when link begins talking about it) shows the editors need to do this kind of funny and silly stuff more often. Thank you editors.
I think we only enjoyed it so much, because that's what Link was specifically talking about, while they did it. If they just started throwing cheesey edits like that in, all willy nilly, it wouldn't have the same impact 🤷♂️ maybe I misunderstood though lol
They just to do these things called recuts. They were hilarious! Previously, those vids were just unlisted so you could still watch them but now they’ve made them private. They were done by John, a former crew member.
You know what Confidence has done to so many people right? Things ended really bad and really good. Confidence means absolutely nothing when you know absolutely nothing about a certain thing you're trying to do
Actually there have been many news stories of non-pilots landing a plane successfully if the pilot suffers a health emergency or something The ATC gives you all the instructions on the radio. That’s the scenario they assumed too. With an expert giving you instructions on the radio. They didn’t say they will land it by pushing random buttons
Link can barely handle driving while having a casual conversation ,asking him to land a plane with instructions from someone is like asking a cat to do your taxes!
We need a flight simulator episode where they try landing a plane without help and then they do it again with a pilot or instructor telling them what to do through their headset. I saw a video before where they had two random people do this and the random people were able to do it with instruction.
So nobody is going to call Link for judging his ability to fly and land a plane by how well he drives and stops a lawnmower. If I’m on a plane and it’s going down and someone stands up and says “don’t worry, I can stop a lawnmower really smoothly, I got this” I don’t think I’m sitting dawn with ease..
I believe Link would pull it together and land the plane with no issues. He has a big heart and would want to get everybody back to their families safely.
Hey all! This was a good vibes episode. Loved link reminiscing in Premier and Rhett questioning being @ed about a lawnmower felt like catching up with friends!
The airplane landing question *is* one for me. They did test this with pilots who had licences for small planes. Pretty much all of them crashed when trying to land a jumbo jet (in a simulator of course).
Link “revealing” to us that he is, in fact, not good at describing or following instructions and then guessing that Rhett would be 60% confident to land a plane and he was 5.9 confident 😂
A fun version of sin there done that would be contestants trying to make other contestants commit the seven deadly sins. Like cooking for gluttony and seduction for lust. The one who made other contestants sin the most wins
There's a HUGE difference between a massive passenger airplane vs like a 4-seater tiny plane. I don't think anyone without prolonged flight simulation training can land a passenger plane.
Regarding landing an airplane, I would say the results heavily depends on the type of plane they’re landing. Is it a four-seat cessna or an Airbus 380?!
12:09 them actually using the cross fade while Link was talking about it was gold lol
Yes props to the editors for elevating the joke. it's so cool when a joke comes together like this through team effort
That’s the Mythical crew for ya!! 😊💫
I was really hoping for it, then it happened. Great moment 😂
Well done editor's 😂😂
Came here to say that, ha
We need a flight simulator episode with no preparation.
As an avid flight simmer, I desperately need to see them in a Boing 747 now!
At the very least of VR flight Sim
I thought that WAS what this video was going to be
This!
That's exactly what I was saying during the episode. They need to make it happen!
The amount of people in the comments who enjoyed the literal crossfade at 12:08 (when link begins talking about it) shows the editors need to do this kind of funny and silly stuff more often. Thank you editors.
I'm here to acknowledge the crossfade!
I think we only enjoyed it so much, because that's what Link was specifically talking about, while they did it. If they just started throwing cheesey edits like that in, all willy nilly, it wouldn't have the same impact 🤷♂️
maybe I misunderstood though lol
What kind of stuff?
They just to do these things called recuts. They were hilarious! Previously, those vids were just unlisted so you could still watch them but now they’ve made them private. They were done by John, a former crew member.
Link being someone who cannot even talk and drive a car at the same time... I have very little trust in his ability to land a plane 😂
12:09 the actual, literal cross-fade made my day 😂
I love how doubt-filled and existential the question of "could we get hired here if we hadn't started this" made them
"Confidence is more important than competence!" 😂 need that on a bumper sticker lol
You know what Confidence has done to so many people right? Things ended really bad and really good. Confidence means absolutely nothing when you know absolutely nothing about a certain thing you're trying to do
the irony of putting that on a vehicle is sending me 😅
it only leads to good leaders
12:08 I see what you did there, editors 😂
Good catch!!
14:00 "She had an investment mindset." I'm howling omg 😂😂 Top tier comment Link.
Guys who couldn't shoe a horse: "Yeah I could land a plane"
I think I'd be a tad more confident to land a plane than shoe a horse. Still not confident enough though.
Shoeing a horse is sooo much more difficult than landing a plane. Plus you get professional guidance with the plane
@@pilotdog68 they had professional guidance with the horse 😂😂
Actually there have been many news stories of non-pilots landing a plane successfully if the pilot suffers a health emergency or something
The ATC gives you all the instructions on the radio. That’s the scenario they assumed too. With an expert giving you instructions on the radio. They didn’t say they will land it by pushing random buttons
@@Busy_on_bottomBut civilians have successfully landed plans without any expertise. Just being instructed via radio
I think Rhett could make a good case for himself getting hired at Mythical for a Sporked position! He would make awesome rankings
“I have a little doubt that Christy would date me” 😂
The cross fading while Link tries to explain how he can cross fade 😂😂 ggs editors
I'm really proud of whatever work Link's been doing on himself. I can see a difference in him. I identify with his journey.
10:00 we’re too old! No you can’t say that 💀
Airplane simulator without instructions, next gmm hit
But the question was WITH instructions?
I have watched every episode for about a decade now. That crossfade part where they literally did crossfades was so f-ing funny.
Show me more of the editors flexing their shift + D skills.
oh I got it now 😂😂 I was surprised like "looks like they increased More's post production budget"
gmm episode where rhett and link go thru the interview/hiring process as a potential mythical employee
Rhett ordering that steak that comes on that riding lawnmower makes so much sense now 😂
The image of stepbrothers when they are trying to get a job is what sprung up in my brain thinking about them interviewing for a job at mythical.😂
I think I can help with this Pan Pam situation. 🤣🤣
Link can barely handle driving while having a casual conversation ,asking him to land a plane with instructions from someone is like asking a cat to do your taxes!
Investment mindset, that’s genius
I love the transition when Link explains how to do transitions and cut .
11:59 lol do your thing editors 🔥

"I think everybody's single in this scenario" I want that written on my headstone
Timestamp
Yall need to do this again for a more. I loved this
I would love to see Rhett and Link use an airplane simulator to try
to land a plane. we will see how confident they really are. LOL.
I believe Link would pull it together and land the plane with no issues. He has a big heart and would want to get everybody back to their families safely.
Rhett can do it too because he has a big heart as well ❤
Jiu-jitsu is mostly defense based, so Rhett might like it a lot!
My mom's biggest life lesson to me has been that I can do anything if I try hard enough. I wouldn't ket myself near plane controls any time soon. 😂
"Basically, we feel the same, but you don't," what? 😂😂
the cross fades got me, i had to pause and rewind i was laughing too hard 😂
I have lived in North Carolina my entire life and I am 64 years old and would not live anywhere else. North Carolina is a beautiful place.
Can confirm that 0 radius lawn mowers are fun
"how confident are you that I can get it?"
"zero"
😭damn lol
The way they started talking about their love for lawn mowers. They’re such dads 😂
Petition for Rhett & Link Try a Flight Simulator
Link “revealing” to us that he is, in fact, not good at describing or following instructions and then guessing that Rhett would be 60% confident to land a plane and he was 5.9 confident 😂
If you can walk away from it, it is a good landing.... if you can reuse the airplane - it is a great landing!
I was in Science Olympiad in middle school. So much fun.
9:30 instantly lost it at this question 😂😂😂
Please make a video where Rhett and Link learn a martial art (defensive styles) from a Master of the martial art. 😂
Oh My God the cross fade at 12:05 is soooooooo funny (love all you do editors)
It was mildly humorous, more clever than immediately laughter-inducing.
S tier episode
good mythical FRIDAY everyone
least surprising thing of this video was neither of them have ever been in a fight in their lives lol
Happy birthday Link! Along with myself! i'm 31 today 🎈🎈🍰🍰
Good mythical morning everyone!!
PLS the editors are so funny for those crossfades😂😂😂
id like to know rhett's curly hair routine
next good mythical more: the crew watches link ride a lawn mower
not me yelling write it, do it when link starting talking about science olympiad
Ok someone find these guys some grass so we can get a zero turn lawnmower skills challenge episode!!
Can we get a GMM with them being taught self-defense ayyy?
As a person who works for that company who owns Premiere, this amused me greatly.
GMM. Is a wonderful show 🌜😊🌛
I want Netflix to pick up sin there done that😂
Link has a lot of faith in himself to land a plane
I thought the question that should always be asked of men is “how confident are you that you can successfully fight a bear”
A fun version of sin there done that would be contestants trying to make other contestants commit the seven deadly sins. Like cooking for gluttony and seduction for lust. The one who made other contestants sin the most wins
“Which hair is it? Is it hair from the head?” 😂😂
Good mythical morning, and in case I don't see ya, good mythical afternoon, good mythical evening, and good mythical night! 😁
The last few questions were very interesting 😅😅
crossfade was too good LMAO
Link's birthdays on June 1st, my oldest sisters is the 2nd, and another sisters is the 3rd, and mine is the 16th.🥳 Let's go , Gemini's!! 🎉🎉
They need to see who can do the best in a self defense class!
I accidentally won that Science Olympiad description one 😂 Well, I did prepare, but it was the only time activity my school got first place in.
I think it was called Write it Do it
lol going to give link a WHOLE plane
There's a HUGE difference between a massive passenger airplane vs like a 4-seater tiny plane. I don't think anyone without prolonged flight simulation training can land a passenger plane.
Let the wheel spin without stopping it
i am very confident i could excel at things first try without instruction because that was my childhood helping my dad lol
I'm 54, I have talent. On my way!!!
If there's one thing I think about Link, it's that he's a lawnmower guy
Should've had the crew vote on their confidence opinions of Rhett and Link too :)
Confidence is more important than competance 🤣
goo morning gmm
me applying for a job at mythical with no connection LOL
Good evening again from down under
Regarding landing an airplane, I would say the results heavily depends on the type of plane they’re landing. Is it a four-seat cessna or an Airbus 380?!
My hubby's 6'8" friend does Jujitsu. He would destroy anybody probably 😂
I don't blame christy at all if I had to plan 5 people's dinners for 20 years I'd be pretty ready to go home too
Episode idea - > 4:19
Lol the cross fades
Please, for the love of god let’s see them land a sim lol
I am early. It’s 5:11 am in Okc
This is a great challenge
Listen i dont even need to watch this video to know the answer is Rhett lmfao
Editors, we see you.
They need to play a flight simulator game. Like smosh games did.
Rhett needs to look up syncromysticism if he hasn't already.
happy birthday link!
🎉🌟❤️🎉
I own a lawn business!!!! It's such hard work!!! That whole lawn mower part had me smiling and laughing!!!!
9:20 zero, cause i would just be another mythical beast to you guys... and i live across country. What kinda question is this... just taunting me. 😢😢😢
favorite humans
Rhett is always the right way. Link is always the left way.
