Filmed in the California desert. The band hadn't been able to tour for years, and finally got to come over for a proper tour of the US. I was lucky enough to go to the San Diego show, and never in my 60 plus years have I ever witnessed such a loud and enthusiastic crowd. The crowd was deafening, and it was like this at pretty much every show. The band was blown away by the reception after the first few shows, and Kanami wrote this song - to the fans. To show that the got the message and were super grateful. Besides being this good, they are a kind and loveable group of ladies. This song hits me every time I hear it, because it's like they're talking to me.
I have no idea who said this, but you could drop miku in a desert with a kazoo.And she would come out a week later a rock star

This song is about us the maidiacs written while they were in the USA on tour and they thought that us fans had forgotten about them but when they saw the crowds and heard the love that us maidiacs gave them showing band maid that even though they couldn’t tour because of COVID we were still here for them Po!!!

Out of 100+ total songs, about 80+ are band written. They have done many of their songs acoustically. Only 2 are readily available on their UA-cam page. Sayonakidori , and Catharsis. Other songs are floating around on the net.
Wow! You'd be hard pressed to find two BAND-MAID OMVs that are more opposite. Melt your face & Melt your heart. I'm just glad Miku didn't melt filming it. Good call! It was shot in the desert near Joshaua Tree.

Kanami (lead guitar & composer) is a master of "knowing when" and leaving spaces at crucial points, even in the ragers. Band-Maid do have quite a lot of ballads, mid-tempo, and acoustic songs at this point, although they are still the minority of their total catalog. But even the hard rockin' songs have a tremendous amount of variety in them. If you like eclectic rock that is always masterfully performed and always maintains a strong identity, keep it going. If you want a classic ballad, try Daydreaming, or if you'd like the current concert closer, try _endless_ _story_ (especially the newest from the Yokohama show)
Filmed in Deer Valley, CA, live shots from live debut in Jan 2023 in Tokyo Garden Theatre. And yes, they write the their music.
two love songs to the fans. this one and "About us". And now with a few choice lyric changes "Endless story" live from the 10th anniversary tour is now another song to the crowd.
If you like the softer stuff, try Wonderland and Daydreaming. For contrast try Moratorium or Rinne. Or contrast the various versions of Saynokadori played with the regular rock instruments, versus the acoustic set version. They have raaaaaaaange.
Memorable is in the vein of other great mid-tempo Band-Maid songs like Bestie, Daydreaming, Anemone, About Us, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile. I’m so touched that their time in the States inspired the sentiment of Memorable. Kanami actually wrote the song on their touring bus! Thx, Rusty!

BTW -- I just watched the incredible "BAND-MAID 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR SPIN OFF" live-stream concert (on Zaiko). Listen fans and Maidiacs... seriously, if you've ever seen Band-Maid live, you know they play at an extremely high level of performance and execution. And there is no band that I'm aware of playing today, other than The Warning, that has a better, more extensive catalog of majorly awesome songs.
I would place this concert among the top of all Band-Maid concerts for insane playing, setlist, and audio quality, and is even better than Yokohama for an audio experience from video, imo.
To put it simply, this concert punches hard and totally worth the few bucks to experience it! When I was watching it, I was thinking about how The Warning, following Band-Maid (I believe) at their June 12, 2-man concert, is going to feel about it! I know I wouldn't want to follow the Maids! However, The Warning has all the earned confidence in the world! 🎀🤘😜🤘🎀 The concert is available to view on archive until 2024/05/28 (bandmaid.tokyo/contents/742715)
Starting from the song alone from Brand New Maid and the full LP Just Bring It, Kanami (lead guitarist) has become the main composer and Miku (rhythm guitarist), the main lyricist. MISA (bass guitar) and Akane (drums) also write their parts and Saiki (lead vocalist) has overall input. She has also written lyrics for a couple of the newer tracks.
Band-Maid is #1 but there are so many more Japanese female rock/metal bands. Keep it going with Nemophila, Babymetal, Passcode, Lovebites, Hanabie... etc!
The Maids are absolutely fantastic. You have a lot of great music ahead of you.
