Gabby, finally you're back! I've really missed you. It was cool to see the process. It was interesting to see the "fox trucks". This is the nickname I made up because they come in the dark of night and make off with the chickens. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next Gabby Lyfe episode.
Intersting videos. Love seeing how other farmers do their business. Thanks for posting.
Really interested in your friends skid steer attachment for lifting the slat and truss assemblys.
Is there any way you could get me some pics? Specifically how he attaches to the slat assy and disengages with out leaving the skid steer.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb lost the login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Mark Andre Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Mark Andre it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
Hey Gabby,
How do you clean those wooden slats? After all we need to wash and disinfect them.
We are working with slats made of plastic and we usually wash and disinfect them after depletion.
which company are you with just wondering was that tip top live hang
Gabby, I swear I passed your farm in my travels the other day. I've watched your videos and wasn't expecting to see what I thought was your place. The instant I saw it, it looked familiar. We had dropped down into Ga. from NC headed toward Cleveland Ga. I saw a place called Hightower and a Barefoot or Bigfoot Rd. Not sure the correct name of the area.
Farmergirl of Chickens
Well I’m pretty close to Cleveland! In my next video I’ll tell you a little more about where my farm is
What is the life span of a chicken house? When it is time to expand or replace a chicken house, are you going to transition to the new type chicken house with no poles? Great video, thanks!!
Chicken houses can last many decades. You can convert a chicken house to use clearspan trusses, but that basically means you are replacing the entire ceiling and adding 2 block walls to the inside of the chickenhouse.
I think it would be better just to make a new chicken house
Hey my name is Carlos Garcia I saw a UA-cam video on chicken houses you did and was wondering if you know how hard is to start a group to pick up chicken. I have worked in some chicken house's before but would be nice to get my own crew. If you have any information on this topic it would be greatly appreciated
Hi gaby how can i contacting you?
I whant to learn about breeders chicken.
Thanks.
Wash down the eggs room
Man that is a hard job walking spent hens up the trailer to put in coops. I would rather load broiler anyday
What about the washing ?
Yeah that generally happens after all the chickenlitter has been taken out. We usually repair the house before and after the washing.
Be careful not to tell too much about your location. Those PETA protesters might come harass you.
Hi Gabby .
Great vid .
While watching the part of both barns . One with posts and one without . In your case have you ever considered installing a rail up top to act as a winch system. Like in a slaughter house for hanging meet .
Would be same idea as the bobcat but in your house you would use this method for lifting and moving slats .
