so u played akali with pentakill emblem on it and superfan late game ? there is a SIMILAR comp yes but not this one , slightly difference are big difference in tft , in terms of items champ , timing etc so no u didnt played it
@@charleshemmer2996 the game isn't that hard. Akali is known as the best penta spat holder. Mord's superfan item is literally BIS so I wouldn't put it past a new player to figure something like that out. Most of these deck sites give some variations on a build. I've had a similar board state personally, because of the reasons stated. I'm just saying tft isn't that complicated, the skill isn't in the comp per se but in knowing the likelihood of hitting the comp you're angling and understanding average placement relative to the lobby.
yeah, not every game you're going to have the same exact board lmao. Shit's gonna be different, but they're all similar. Most of them have the same concept@@michaelcarroll5801
I'm genuinely shocked he didn't upgrade the Kai'Sa. Kind of a weird approach, but I guess that's why he's such a high rank. He must be thinking on a different level. Obviously, save the gold. But...I dunno...it's pretty difficult to not take a good option to strengthen your board like that.
It was fake. Making gold there is more important otherwise he’s not making 10 gold till 2-5 if he got lucky on carousel for a 3 cost and if he got unlucky then he not making 10 gold till 2-6 and is forever behind all other players in Econ. Kai sa 2 there isn’t worth being behind 20 gold. That’s just my opinion especially with how the current meta is.
We are looking at a meta where half of the lobby sell board to maintain a lose streak. You are not guaranteed a winning streak, you want to get ur eco up and rush 8 4-2
he didn't have items for her nor an augment. i bet he'd still lose the next fight, literally a waste of gold. i wonder if it'd be e.g. jax and he'd have items, active trait and reasonable augment for jax reroll, what he'd do then. you obviously are still gonna be behind in economy, but that gold would be put into searching jax anyway, and you should easily have a winstreak with jax so in that case i think it's worth?
He rarely takes an upgrade unless it's 1-cost. He prioritizes gold above everything. The thing is that investing 4g into a unit and then -1g to sell it means you're spending 5g on a temporary placeholder that only slightly upgrades your board. 4g is not a trivial cost, especially when you're at 30 and might hit 40-50. compared to 26 35 45 now it's a 10g swing almost!
Morde actually tank alot, i've won with riven carry and 3* morde without sustain and ahri was stuck on morde for riven to clear board, without giant slayer ahri wouldnt kill morde, plus in this vid he had hoj so he can't die from 2 star ahri no gs
Jax is so unbelievably broken being able to beat most 3 cost and some 4 cost at the same star level, it's great to see a comp that roflstomps him into oblivion
@@mica2884 Yeah, that would be why I said Jax beats *MOST* 3 cost and *some* 4 cost. He isn't broken in the code and beating literally everything, he is just broken in balance as a 2 cost carry. 2 costs should not have so many good matchups, or should require massive support (on the order of other 3 costs, or level 9+ to get traits). Jax, imo, has winning matchups roughly 50% more than he should. He solo beats anything that doesn't have 2+ big tanks (I'm talking 3 star with items) or 1+ mega tank (solo frontliners). It is pretty ridiculous that he has overwhelming odds against pretty much every 2 star 4 cost, and beats every single 3 star 3 cost ranged carry. I have only played 1 game with him (6 mosher 4 edm multitalented lobby, so high overall cap), and I got 3rd with subpar positioning in every fight. I shouldn't be able to misposition with a 2 cost carry and win in plat. But now that you say Riven beats him.... I think I'm off to play some 8 bit edgelords
@@brandonzzz9924 I agree with you, a 2 cost carry shouldn't be this strong, we have to understand that it's a headliner 3 star with both of his trait vertical (5 EDM 4 mosher or else). Let's compare it to senna, if you have a 3* headliner senna BIS with multitalented 6 True dmg 2 rapidfire. I can guarantee you that she does alot of damage and can easily carry you from level 6 to 9 and even 10 depending of other's board. So even if jax is a lil strong, he's maxed out so we have to take that into account. It's like when YBY1 rank 1 global 2000 lp (not sure if it was him) played seraphine 3* carry and was one shotting backlane so here's that. People are just blinded by the meta, thats why riven comp got popular because high elo decided that the nerf was too much so they stopped playing her while she was still in a good spot.
@@mica2884 Agreed. The power level of 2 cost 3 stars is the highest it has ever been in TFT, and it should be knocked down a tad across the board so that there is a meaningful difference between 2 cost and 3 cost power levels. Senna is also overtuned, but caps lower than Jax, though she is better early. My main problem isn't even the power level of jax (though a one shotting carry with aoe that double casts is asking to be broken), but that he has too many matchups where he negates the power of other carries. IDK what the optimal number is, but I do know that over 50% auto winning just based on matchups is not healthy for such an easy comp to roll into. It is just too high of probability and needs a weakness exposed to open up more counters. Even something like a ranged comp that gets extra range would smooth Jax's matchups by letting one of his potential opponents corner their team to protect their carry, but Jax aoe might still be able to rip through that. Personally I think that Jax as a tank killer would fit better, with his ability doing more single target and less aoe, and targeting highest MAX health, with increased damage based on missing health would feel better, but it would change his comps so much that everything would need to be rebalanced
He played in the Boxbox bootcamp on NA and went out in 2nd place to Setsuko, so he'd at least be very high lp NA, not sure of the relative strength of the region though.
Why do you think that NA is a strong server? Lots of servers have more players - China, Korea, EU West, EU North-East, Vietnam, Brazil could theoretically be stronger than NA since it is way harder to climb. Of course, they have their own metas, so the gameplay pattern is not identical.
@@azraksash it take me 100 game to reach GM in Vietnam server while it take me 200 game to reach GM in NA. it's either NA ladder is full of smurf or Vietnam's low elo player just trolling lol

I argue sentinel mord is better than pentakill mord with sustain/omnivamp. If you pick him up early and allow him to stack then he can easily take you top 4
I disagree. You already have sentinel thru the Superfan core which I wager is mandatory for this comp. You can’t really drop lillia because you need her to fit in 3 kda with akali and pentakill just makes much more sense.
if I had a dollar for every time he said urgot id have multiple dollars
This stream he got 5 top 1 in a row and then 1 top 8 cost him 130 lp lol
The only "issue" is that Mord is giga contested for multiple comps, Ahri sentinels, Yone reroll, Riven reroll and just in general flex boards.
the pentakill urgot was a certified stroke moment
I've been playing for less than 2 weeks but even I've played this comp because it's in Mobalytics as an A tier comp to play.
It was a Meta comp before the b patch. Subzero washed?

The issue here is that I will unfortunately never hit Pentakill Urgot in my shop 😔
Happy new Year Baldman
16:20 idk by any chance that he grief positioning here, he made 5 pieces siege mordek and kill all 5 in one hit, leaving only yone
Yeah pentakill urgot 3 is very strong
love the yby1 coverage haha
these days too many comps need morde, ahri yone riven and somehow karthus/viego at 8, it's hard to approach this though
Where is this a new comp, loterally since pbe this comp was played
That's what i was thinking. "never before seen"? yeah okay
I actually think karthus with BIS items is decent at top 4ing
Isn't most games of ahri meta will take all the morde away
How does he slowroll on 7 and find yorick?
I cant even find yorick when i roll on 9
Luck
Whats up guys, YBY1ark here back at it again with todays daily gospel...I mean VOD review of our godking himself YBY1

why are they so spazzy with all the pointless clicking and dragging?
hes so good he created a new unit! pentakill urgot!

how is this a tech? Morde is literally a pentakill unit and 3starring him has been a strat since pbe
this guy is playing the game so differently than from na its like its a different game
