Im so God damn thankful that Yipes commentated practically all these hype moments. He elevates an already excellent player to God tier status because he knows exactly what random goofy shit to say to make you laugh while magic happens on screen
well you have to be good in order to be able to play and mitigate bad matchups and optimize character strengths. One of the EVO marvel 3 winners plays big body but has optimized the play style where he just needs one touch and you get absolutely flexed on.
Max Madmax I know, but I don't mind the speed as most online players I've played hates it when I just chill. They come to me anyways so it all works out

jcjjcc you should check out Abegen's matches against Noel Brown (comes back from 0-2), DatVIP, he has a few casuals with KBR and Kusoru too! Abegen has one of the most entertaining teams and it's extremely satisfying to watch these mindless Virgil players get beaten.
The fact that this team wasn't put together because of synergy, but because he wanted to use the 3 highest health characters and MADE the synergy is why Abegen and his play/team make me wet. He knows his team inside and out and there's nothing better than seeing him shit on scumbags and their scumbag teams like Zero May Cry and Dr. Boring.
FGC Highlights Shame is an understatement. It's a farce, unjust. But people like you who still have an eye and heart for actual creativity and fun and not the boring shit give me hope.

Whens Marvel I think I understand what you're trying to say, but the dry teams all have dry play at this point. No decision making can really change that. For example, there's nothing a Zero May Cry team can do that is exciting anymore. Everything they do is boring and dry. Also, the creative teams ARE the cool ones.
I think people who aren't familiar enough with Marvel especially with how 6 years of it has passed overlook that at this point, its not about the characters. Its about players and their consistency. There is a reason why Cloud805 on his best day is one of the best ZMC players. Its not because he plays them cut and dry but because he is consistent. Otherwise if he's not, well he risks going 0-2 against players who are having better days than he does. Or that RayRay also plays strong characters but his Magneto plays differently than Fchamps, his Doom is as consistent but his Sentinel the best in MVC3 at this point. Creativity still exists to a degree but in high level play, consistency always wins out regardless of the former.
I wouldn't care if you got destroyed and eliminated first round. You bring a low tier team to a tournament, you instantly have my respect. And this guy still gives me hope with my team.

Sure, in a one character situation he might not do well (although he's shown despite the odds he can make the comeback anyway), but with all three characters on deck he can decimate entire teams. It's really a sight to see.
Tim Fisher that's what I say to ppl who think hulk sentinel and haggar is still a low tier team that's team is definitely not low tier in the newer meta of this game
I remember at my second Evo (Ultimate's first Evo) my friend's and I had a set up going and at some point Abegen (before we knew who he was cause I think that may have been his first Evo) came over and started bodying us. Since we didn't know his name at the time we just called him Low Tier Hero.
Seeing tron used competitively now gives me the confidence to keep using her in my main team because I really like playing as her and fear that she probably sucks against other people
