Nice video. Just some suggestion, specially if you're going to teach/make this craft with kids. It's easier to weave if you thread the yarn in a plastic yarn needle or tie it to a popsicle stick. I love these branch weaving and I've done a few ones after I found them on some blogs and, of course, pinterest and youtube. Love it ♥
I punch a whole on a popsicle stick with a paper puncher (if you have a stronger puncher it is even better.), that can bee your child’s tapestry needle, you can even let the kid file a point at the end if they’re a little bit older, it makes a more precise application that older kiddos like.
Fun video, thank you! So I tried this last night and have a question. I’ve done weaving in the past…..No matter how tight I made my loom, it kept loosening up. I’m wondering if it’s because there wasn’t much space in between the V (it was all I could find ). Any thoughts. I tried too different type of warp string too.
Hi! what kind of yarn are you using for your warp? It could be stretching, also if your stick is small and too bendy it could be pulled closer as you weave.
Does anybody have a good weaving verse? There seems to be some frustration when a weaving “mistakes” are happening, I really think a weave looks good even of part of a piece is a little uneven, I know the learning process of solving this little problem is very important, but I also would like to help the kiddo with a nice verse.
so beautiful ❤

Is there a way to remove the weaving from the branch? Or does it have to stay on it?
How do you weave an item like another stick or feather into the project?
Do you use them for anything, or just decoration? Thank you
Hi! They are decorative, its a lovely way to use up some special yarn scraps.
