Kevin's main attribute is his vision and passing ability. He always says he would rather create a goal than score. He is adored at Man City. A lot of people believe he is currently the best midfield player in the world. In the US he would be number 1 Quarter Back. He is the quickest player to 100 assists in the Premier League.
It's his vision and passing that amazes me. He anticipates where this team mates need the ball to go and can deliver it with just the right pace. One in a generation player.

the way he hits a ball should be studied. it’s perfect almost everytime
It's got a lot to do with your quads and using your body weight/momentum together. A lot good players make the mistake of just flinging their leg at it. I'm no professional player however I strike the ball beautifully because, similar to De Bruyne because I got the technique down from an early age. Many people used to think it was because I was chubby and had more weight (younger days) but I've been 5'10 165lbs now for a good few years and if anything I get even more power. Good examples as you might know of players striking the ball well with power are Suarez, Aguero and a few years back Naingolan. None of them are the biggest dudes around but if you watch them strike a ball, it's all to do with using momentum and them having huge quads, even in scenarios when they are facing 90 degrees from the goal, they manage to shift enough momentum into the strike of the ball with very little backlift. Arshavin was also great at this

I would say KDB is without a doubt more complete. Don't forget the athletic and defensive aspects of football.

To curve the ball you need to hit it on the right spot with the right force but the thing is, that spot and force changes depending on the distance the ball needs to travel and the surface on which it needs to travel on (air or grass). You also need to compensate for wind and density/humidity of the pitch.
It’s great to see Americans finally understanding football. There’s no American sport that requires the same level of sheer skill, coordination, speed and endurance in my opinion:
- You need Track & Field levels of sprinting speed.
- The balance and strength of a gymnast.
- the coordination skills of a circus juggler.
- the endurance of a triathlete. The average pro player runs 90 minutes non stop, with just a 15 minute break at half time, covering 7 miles of running per game.
I love the way he shoots a ground shot instead of taking a driven shot he just whips the ball in like he whips it when providing a cross. Its unique and beautiful to watch

I would say kicking is just his best ability. Inside, outside, sole, top of the foot etc. Gerrard + Beckham + any tiptoe dribbles = KDB.
KDB plays for Man City, my 2nd favorite club, after Los Angeles Football Club which started since 2018, but previously my favorite club. He'll go down as one of the Premiere League's all-time greats.

I like to think highlight videos really flatter many footballers because if you’re professional they’re all capable of most things that you see the issue I have is how consistent you are with what you do and I can truly say Kevin de bruyne really does these crazy passes every match he’d be at 200* assists if it didn’t rely on Gabriel Jesus and Sterling
His pass is weighted for the other guy he's passing to. That's the difference between him and other great passers.
All great passes are weighted. You can't be known as a great passer if you can't do that.
He reminds me of Xabin alonso both for class and insane accuracy.

Doesn’t matter what team you support if you have played at a decent level or love the game you can’t not love the skills of KDB. He scores great goals of course but his real skill is his movement and passing of the ball.
No other player in the premiership today is on his level on his ball passing and there are some really good ones.
. As a Tottenham fan aged 69 the only ever other I’ve seen on that level was Glenn Hoddle.
