The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming-not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, ‘Here I am-it is written about me in the scroll- I have come to do your will, my God.’” First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”-though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool. For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. (Hebrews 10:1-18)

      @@roculin1862 Isaiah 53:1-12 NKJV
[1] Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? [2] For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. [3] He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. [4] Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. [5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. [7] He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. [8] He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. [9] And they made His grave with the wicked- But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. [10] Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. [11] He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. [12] Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 53 says that "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement needed to bring us to peace with God, was upon Him.."
As you know, in the times when Israel had the temple and animal sacrifices: once a year, a lamb was offered for the sins of the nation by the High Priest. He would cut its throat so that it's blood could be shed to atone for the sins of the people. He had to be ceremonially clean himself; then at the day of atonement, he would carry the innocent blood of the lamb in the basin, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat of God. Now, the instructions for this lamb were very strict, it had to be ●male, firstborn of the flock, and have NO blemish!!●
Why did God ordain this with these particulars?
Because it was to foreshadow the Messiah to come, who would take away our sins.
Yeshua was the firstborn of Mary (a virgin, see Isaiah 7:14,) and He was WITHOUT SIN! In other words: without blemish, just like the lamb.
"It is the blood that makes atonement for the soul."
The reason Yeshua's blood is innocent, without sin, is because he was born of God, he was born of a virgin and became: Immanuel- God with us, as Isaiah 7:14 says.
"He was tempted by sin in all points as us, yet without sin."(quote from Hebrews in New Testament.)
This made Him the perfect lamb of God, the perfect sacrifice for our sins.
      Only God cannot sin.
So he manifested himself in flesh to9 lay down a perfect, sinless life, for the sins of the world. Of course Jesus (Yeshua) came for the Jews first and foremost, but he also reached out to many Gentiles. In Isaiah, it is written, "My Name shall be great among the Gentiles."
But I digressed. I could explain how all the animal sacrifices instituted by God through Moses, point to the Blood of Jesus shed for our sins.

@@roculin1862 After my first reply, I thought of something I hope you will appreciate. Death entered the human race through sin. We know that theLordGod warned Adam that: "In the day you eat of it (forbidden fruit,) you shall certainly die!"They began dying physically from that point, but their spiritual death came immediately! What did God do for Adam and Eve before he threw them out of the Garden of Eden?
To cover their nakedness, he slew goats and made skins to cover them. Blood was shed for sin! It was shed to provide a covering for them.
We know that Adam must have taught Cain and Abel, how that a blood sacrifice was needed to be acceptable to God. But Cain thought it weird no doubt, and thought he'd offer God of the fruits of the ground, which He'd cursed! Only Abels sacrifice pleased God.

@@roculin1862Do you want a complete exegesis of each verse in each chapter?! I will give only a few. Isaiah. 50:6: I gave my back to the smiters, my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair; I did not hide myself from shame and spitting." Read vs 7 now.
Isaiah 52:13 & 14 "Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonished at you: His face was so marred more than any man, and his body more than the sons of men."
Read the Gospel account prior to Yeshuas' crucifixion, you will read that the soldiers spat on him and plucked the beard off his face, and that Pilate had him scourged with a whip, he have his back to the smiters, (a Roman scouring often killed the person, they had no limit, unlike Jewish law, which is maximum 39 strokes,)
in Isaiah 53 we see that the "stripes" or scouring, were to pay for our healing.vs 5.
"He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities. The punishment meted out to bring us to peace with God,was upon Him. And with his stripes we are healed."
These are only a few verses. I can show you in all the Law and the Prophets were Jesus the Christ is foreshadowed.
But I've hopefully, given you enough for now
