I had the pleasure of visiting Sarajevo 7 years ago and I had the cevapi at a local spot. And it was amazing. The bread which is called samoon bread is absolutely delicious. Always hot and fresh and chewy. It's kinda smokey too.. Ajvar (the red sauce made from peppers) is delicious. I bought 5 jars of that to bring home. It's great with almost everything. I will go back to Sarajevo one day. I can't get enough of the culture and food. You should go too! Highly recommend!
@@HEYMANFOODREVIEWS I think there's a direct airline from Dubai to Sarajevo, but if you're in the UK, then there's Ryanair cheap flights to Bosnia I think once a week?
Ali - my Dad is from ex-Yugoslavia. I told you not long ago about a place in London called Chicken & Cevapi - its the same - I think you'd like it there
With the bosnian coffee we tradionally dip the sugarcube in the coffee untill it absorbs the coffee. Then take a small bite from the cube and wash it down with the coffee, its awesome.
If you buy the coffee online you also need a 'jesva' to make it in - plus get instructions on how its made - you have to cook the coffee - not just add it to the water and thats it - more to it.
Does anyone know of any Bosnian food places in the UK? We have quite a big Bosnian/Kosovan community in our city during the 90's/early 00's but they never really created their own ethnic niche.
As a Bosnian I was ecstatic when I saw this video on your tiktok, in terms of coffee there are lots of good ones but would be hard to get a hold of, the best one which would be easiest to source would be Zlatna Dzezva. I live in Australia and we can get it easily so I don’t see why it couldn’t be found in the uk. Great vid 👍
Don’t know if any resturaunt in the West Yorkshire area that sell Bosnian/Serbian food but there is a travelling van called serbo-brit food that were at todmorden market st the weekend that sell Cevaps, djuvec, sarma, gibanica etc might be worth trying? 🙏
Thank you so much @HEYMANFoodReviews for the Bosnian food trial, and for the 1st time I hear a HEYYYMAANN from Ali outside of UK indeed.. 💪😋 This was our next planed to go places in the Caucasus, and had even made Bosnian friends that had helped us alot with halal food places whiles traveling Georgia, but was spoiled by the pendamic till present day.. 😢💔
Anglo-Serb checking in 🙌 it’s pronounced chevap not sevap, they are traditionally a mixture of pork, lamb and beef and served how you got them with the kjamak cheese, fresh bread and sliced onions and ajvar sauce (peppers and aubergine dip basically) I’m guessing these emit the pork for the Muslim audience in that resturaunt, possibly even bosniak muslims run the reaturaunt although the menu pics are traditional Bosnian Serbs
Stop talking bullshit cevapi is a traditional ottoman dish so no pork there . This is about Bosnian food . It have nothing to do with Serbia . If you want to go that way Albanian an Bulgarian food is also similar pls making Bosnian some type of Serbian Muslims . We have our own culture that you don’t understand 100% .
Dip burek in chilli? Ridiculous lol. Those tastes dont match, but to each his own lol. You can mix burek with yoghurt. I am glad you enjoyed that food. I am born and grew up in Croatia but my origins include Bosnia
Amazing to see Bosnian food, just to mention Bosnia and Pakistan have a special connection, during the genocide in Bosnia, Pakistan was one of the only countries to assist Bosnians.
@@Account-br9kc Actually, "no part" of the country adheres to one religion. Bosnia is a multi-religious country of all Bosnians, so you have Bosnian Catholics, Bosnian Muslims and Bosnian Orthodox, even Bosnian Jewish population. So, we're all Bosnian and then people choose what religion they follow. Some areas have majority of certain religion but there are no "Muslim parts" or "Catholic parts" etc.
What should I try next? I’ve been thinking Ethiopian or Venezuelan? Give me your suggestion!
Ethiopia! Injera & misir
Would like to know all of the African continent culinary restaurants available in the UAE 🇦🇪.. 😋

I’m going to have to try and find some as this was soooooo nice man! One of the best I’ve ever had
I'm in the US and I buy Zlatna Dzezva all the time. All the major grocery stores carry it here
You can buy Bosnian coffee from a halal supermarket or at an international supermarket in UK
I’m going to have to find some for sure!
