Really appreciate these as a returning player trying to catch up on everything. I don't have Thorns but I have some other older units like Blaze and Saria so I used them in places where I could. Meteorite in place of Click did really well for the reasons you explained and had good range to hit the boss when it came thru the stairs and helped DPS with Thorns. Can't auto it since I don't have my own Thorns yet, but one day surely.
Thank you once again for your hard work. Went with the Fia strat that someone recommended down here but your tactics still are a fantastic blueprint for placement and strategy.
With an AOE Medic in place of Gavial and a ST medic in place of Lava, you can put Fiammetta (S3 with masteries) on the right side of the ranged tile and pretty much have her as the sole DPS there. Just a tip for every fellow Fia users here :))
Thanks Kyo, you're awesome. Didn't follow the guide exactly but the general idea of the strategy helped me adapt to my own similar version. Very helpful.
S2 Rosmo is a great unit to put on Lava's place here. Not only her range allows to cover both blockers, but her S2 gives her a stun which means no candle knight will ever manage to finish nuke. This iteration of BK is pretty low on stats too, you can literally throw Surt in twice, she's also an easy solution to Bladehelm on 350, just let someone get debuffed first
I'll be honest, I independently came to the same conclusion as you, but I put her where gitano was. In retrospect, your spot is way better as it allows the aoe caster to hit both spots, but mine still worked out. When Kyo said aoe damage my mind went straight to "I wonder if I can use Rosmontis here." Glad someone else came to the same conclusion as me haha.
Thank you for the detailed and well thought out guides, I'm not someone who has time to do the annihilations over and over again testing out squads with trial and error when there's so much in each level you can't predict. I dont have very much time to play so all I can do is take small deviations like using flexible slots to secure boss kills with one of my other units or slightly swapping around the roles. I have a good amount of strong e2 characters but some of them are more niche and I took a long break from the game so I missed many strong units like chalter, surtr, thorns, etc. Please dont worry about rushing to have them ready, good work takes time and effort and I will appreciate the help no matter when it arrives.
If you have strong enough E2 Saria (I guess Lv. 50 S2M0 is enough), Gavial is not really necessary. Put her on Gummy's place facing down and your Splash Caster will be safe from the shadow attack. And if you have strong enough AoE Guard (maybe E2 Spectre will suffice), you also don't really need the Gitano on the current place so you can replace Click with her instead. Here's my squad composition for this Annihilation Stage: [Flag-Vanguard] Myrtle [E2 Lv. 50, S1M3, Pot. 6] [Vanguard] Zima [E1 Lv. 70, S1R7, Pot. 2] [Charge-Vanguard] Bagpipe [E2 Lv. 60, S2R7, Pot. 2, CHG-X Module] (treated as Fast-Redeployment) [AoE Guard] Blaze [E2 Lv. 69, Pot. 1, S2M3] (Replacing Bubble+Gitano) [Ranged Guard] Thorns [E2 Lv. 69, Pot. 1, S3M3] [Instructor Guard] Whislash [E1 Lv. 55, S1R7, Pot. 5] (Placed beside Thorns, facing down) [Medic Defender] Saria [E2 Lv. 69, S2M2] (Replacing Gummy+Gavial] [Defender] Heavyrain [E1. Lv 70, S2R7] (Placed below Ch'alter, facing up, for buying Ch'alter a bit of time to give extra damage against Boss after revival) [Spreadshooter Sniper] Ch'en The Holungday [E2 Lv. 69, S3M3] (Replacing Click) [Splash Caster] Mostima [E2 Lv. 60, S3R7, SPC-Y Module] (Replacing Lava) [AoE Medic] Ptilopsis [E2 Lv. 69, S2R7, Pot. 6, RIN-X Module] (Replacing Sussurro) [Executor Specialist] Gravel [E2 Lv. 40, S2R7, Pot. 6, EXE-X Module]
Thank you for the strats and pointers, made it in one try with mostly different operators except Thorns, Myrtle and Gravel. Using Asbestos S2M3 and Nian S3 super useful on the top right when the numbers overwhelm my Skyfire and 5* Lava.
Combining this guide with no 6 star ver (using Guardmiya instead of Spot, and place her in front of Thorns facing left) will kill the enemies at 12:42 faster
I used Tsukinogi in the County Hillock Annihilation to reveal the Dublinn Sword Elites so that Ifrit can burn them to shave off a few seconds. I do follow your Anni guides but I do substitute most Ops with alternatives for the fun of it, I just don't want to spend 20 minutes waiting for the boss only to leak a unit because I got a wrong set up when the Boss showed up.
I mean I guess the reason people don't want to improvise is because of sanity cost. It's tough if you screw up (More so in cm modes) and realize your adjustments cost you a bunch of resources xD. I like to adjust things because I don't like to be stuck if I screw up a step, but I do empathize with people who just want to win without worrying. Small edit; for those who think I JUST meant annihilation, all forms of content in the game that cost sanity were under the purview of my point xD. I'm just saying that i've spent hours, all my practice plans for multiple days on a mission, and then finally beat it (In PRACTICE mode) only to fail multiple times afterwards in the actual CM because of the rng (it was frostnova ch 6 >.
Thank you for the excellent guide! I'm finally getting around to clearing the various Annihilation maps, and I'm far too impatient to figure out 400 enemies worth of strat. My bit of fiddling: I put Ebenholz as left side caster, and actually had to retreat him so Thorns had a chance to charge his skill lol. Ebenholz just deleted everything before Thorns could get a hit in. But deploying him after Thorns was charged worked great, and judicious application of S3 is great for ignoring the plastic knights. The boss spawns alongside other elite enemies so there's not a satisfying Ebenholz Obliteration Moment for phase 1, but move him to the bottom facing up and phase 2 simply does not exist. Thanks again!
Sometimes I use Tsukinogi if I need to reveal invisible enemies and SilverAsh or other methods won't work as well (perhaps due to a lack or ground tiles, or otherwise). It's pretty rare that this happens, but it always feels good to get to use a niche operator for a change!
Managed this basically as is - Replaced Thorns with Blaze, placed 1 block up. My Spare Defenders (Kyo's Spot/Cardigan), were replaced with more offensive ops - I placed Blemishine behind Blaze to handle leaks from the green stairs. Otherwise, basically the same. I had to be a bit more careful as I was down 1 deployment slot from Kyo's strat, but worked out for me
Thanks for the guide Kyo, I was able to clear this at first try because you let me know what kind of operator I can deploy in each tile and I would like to share my team for the prosperity of our fellow Doctors. Replaced Bubble with Liskarm S1, Gummy with borrowed Mudrock S2 so she can deal lots of aoe damage and allow me to not deploy an aoe caster in Lava's tile, Shining S2 instead of Gavial to keep my Liskarm (which I deployed last) alive with bonus Def and shields (Bonus Def also available for Mudrock), Gitano got replaced by Meteorite S1 to deal even more aoe damage in a larger range. Not deploying another aoe damage dealer allowed me to deploy Platinum S2 in Sussurro's tile and Clic got replaced by Eyja S2 to kill snipers faster, next to Platinum I deployed Whisperain S2 with her extended range she was able to heal Blemishine S3 who was replacing Thorns and on the tile to the right I deployed Nearl S1 to help with healing, while I didn't use Fast Redeploy operators, I used my sunflowers Myrtle S1 and Saileach S1 to bait snipers' attacks and blocked Topola with Saria S1. I could have used Saria downstairs to help Blemi block the Blood Knight but I wanted both sisters to tank and spank him to oblivion instead. I hope this helps I actually intended to replace Clic with Amiya S1 but since I didn't deploy Eyja because Mudrock damage is very high, I was free to deploy Eyja instead of Clic, but Amiya is a free option and very strong if you unlock her full potential. That's enough speech, I hope our fellow Doctors to enjoy this game as Kyo wants us to with the operators we like, it is very rewarding when our beloved operators answer to hardships and carry us even if our team is not meta, it makes us even more fond of them.
Thank you so much! I finally got to the limit of 1800! And I can auto-deploy. I switch Lava with Meteorite and added saria Skill3 instead of cardigen, then at 175 mark, swap in saria into Gummy spot. when the boss killed my spot, put in gummy for quicker healing.
I’m always impressed with the strats you come up with - you always use tiles I would never think to use on my own. Maybe you don’t want to give away too much, but would you ever consider doing a video about how you develop these strategies?
@Kurossu-San put her on G3 tile (7th from left, 3th from bottom) and you can deploy it early. The problem is, if you put Horn there, she will be targetted by Nightzmora's spell since there is no vision behind her, so you may need to put a medic facing on her position.
Swapping Click w/ Suzuran S3M3 surprisingly worked. Thorns cut through the tougher enemies like butter. Plus Suzuran's uptime is really good for the 350 part
Ah finally cleared at last, Thank you for the guide through, though i did use ling, mountain, fiametta and lumen, with thorns support. Ling as to bait the stun using thunderer(even though i have lumen), mountain as substitute for the defender near medic def, fiametta substitute for the other splash caster and lumen juggling who to heal, either fiametta or the dying defender tanking the boss or thorns. Anyways thanks again.
I used E2 Level 60 Goldenglow S2 in click's place and she did a bit too well. Her along with Thorns pretty much killed the boss and he hasn't even moved yet. As for the debuff knight I used Spectral E1lvl80 S2 at R7, guy just melted. Edit: While GG and Thorns melt Bloodknight's health bar, you'll still need to play the stunning game since he's still gonna make it through the passages. His invulnerability on second phase do be like that. If you plan to use a similar strat that melts BK at the start, bring a replacement for GG because BK will kill her with her big ass blade on his second form
I came here after a few failed attempts, because after over 2 years of not playing, most mechanics are fuzzy to me, and the deployment rules here were VERY unclear. Thanks for the help!
i agree with you kyo. Don't be a lazy player. If you always look for the easy way, are you not bored? have fun in this game. c'mon. take the kyo strategy only as an inspiration. to further develop it yourself.
Nah. Some people are not hardcore gamer, just casual players. It is okay to be tortured by this game a bit, but not spend hours to try to clear a stage. And many are still spending hours to clear a stage with a guide 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well if they improve the sanity system maybe ppl will be more encouraged to try on their own... But half sanity refund when a CM stage is lost? No thanks.... Practice is no excuse for that, in certain stages, basically and mostly the hard ones, even if you manage on the practice you still fail on the main....
I just did this, was surprisingly a lot of fun! I put Sora to the right of the light machine (I never get to use her, saw an opportunity), to partly heal Fiametta and buff her attack when needed alongside Gavial keeping the artillery healed so I could nuke the top part constantly with Blaze on the left, Saria on the right. They were basically untouchable. Only mild threats were candle knights but they quickly recovered. Left side was Thorns covered by Shining, as well as Hoshiguma (last deploy) to spot the upper lane and take ranged shots (the thorns skill, lol, was not remarkable but it helped). Myrtle faced down behind Thorns to protect Shining and bank DP in case I mess up. I also had Radiant Nearl to drop in if any enemies though they were funny, lol. I’ve had a lot of stages where the difficulty is through frustration and timing things with skills that are frustrating to time. This stage I had a blast, I’m going to be reclearing it and optimizing runs. Edit: also my favorite things were the knives doing nothing and going straight to the blue squares, lmfao. Very polite. Completely disregarded their existence.
One funny thing is that I always "fuse" your low end and high end starts, there's always a few ops I miss for a "complete high end" but when I don't forget to use Myrtle's skill, things go smoothly. Thanks for the guides Kyo, you help this low IQ Doctor enjoy this game far more
Kyo hell day is start from tommorow . 1 November Arknight CN - Texas alter event 2 November Arknight global - specter alter event 3 November Genshin impact 3.2 patch
La pluma is a hard carry on this stage if you put her on the tile on the upper left of lava facing up. Also use her skill 2 to sweep those tanky enemies.
cleared this with mlynar taunt + kalt'sit cover on left while executor alter and mountain covered right side enemy spawn following your pattern thanks Kyo (edit) support unit goldenglow helped me big time aswell with her S3
7:14 KyoStinV casually roasting 95% of his viewers. I might be one of the lazy people but to my defense I only look at how he progresses with his deployment and how he replies to certain threats. I have no coherent team and not many 6*. I average out on E1 lv 50 so until I have a decent roster I should be allowed to be lazy and conserve sanity.
I just installed the game 3 days ago, and i thought you were unactive forthe video guide spawn time, you have help a lot, i just copy some of the deployment style and try to understand the strategy behind
I borrowed this strategy, except I have 0 AOE casters. So my top side instead ended up with E2 Blue Poison, E2 Silverash, E1 Gummy, E1 Amiya. With good SA activations, it worked for the most part up until the end part. SA first leaked one (only two block count) and even died soon after. Thankfully I still had my back up trump card with Surtr. So I leaked those that killed SA and let them go to their doom. Meanwhile the rest was plugged it in with Baggle. It was a scuffed win but I will take my 1800 weekly unlock.
I used Passenger instead of Gitano and I place him in Lava's place so Lava is at Gitano's position. Candleknights got shredded by his S3 and I never need to use Cuora's skill at all because enemy just died.
If you have mudrock, replace cardigan with mudrock. No brainpower and you end up saving DP because she can just tank all the arrows and aggro without a thought
I got to 325 using Mountain on right side and on left side with Kal and Thorns. Completely forgot the Bloodboil guys got stronger with more kills and that caused the whole thing to fail
Replaced almost everyone. Got my first Thorns ever a few days ago (equal exchange i guess, Thorns insead of Horn(s)). Lvl 73 m2 works fine. Goldenglow\Chalter is too much for left side. Boss got spawnkilled. Lost my opportunity to use s3 Fiametta on the right side and used her not optimal s2 instead. Still works just fine, s2 evaporates anything but shielded archers. Whisperain as medic with s2 on the right side was a mistake. Pretty straightforward annihilation that allows you to simply unga everything.
iyaaaaaaa....first time i got kyo meta and passed in single run. My Meta(For Personal Trust Farm cuz Kyo Sensei Meta made me MAX TRUST LOW STARS ALREADY LOL): Myrtle Gravel Pangkas Rambut Destreza Mudrock S2(Bubble) Blemishine S2(Gummy) Meteorite S2(Gitano) Ceylon S2(Gavial) Honeyberry S2(Sussuro) Leonhart S2(Lava) Hung S2(Spot) Goldenglow S2(Click) Blitz S2(Cardigan) NOTE:Swap Honeyberry with Ceylon. Bang Rusdi Destreza needs Ceylon bigger heal and Status Resistance, and she kinda overkill for heal since Blemi can heal her and Mudrock also)
No 6 stars ver:

As a FYI, my E2 level 50 Thorns *barely* tanked a hit from the final boss.

Now where is my Chongyue?
Man, Kjera was the goat in my run. First-try because she reloads her skill faster than Click.
Thanks Kyostin, when my account reach its maximum potential, i want to be like you.
i surprisingly managed to clear this operation with ansel instead of gavial
One funny thing is that I always "fuse" your low end and high end starts, there's always a few ops I miss for a "complete high end" but when I don't forget to use Myrtle's skill, things go smoothly.
Thanks for the guides Kyo, you help this low IQ Doctor enjoy this game far more
placed down logos instead of click and ended up spawn killing the boss' first phase 😭 10/10 operator, absolute cinema
skill acquired [[High Blood Pressure lv. 1]]
Arknights: No need for brain, I have kyo.
Path to nowhere: Uh-oh 👁👄👁
Kyo hell day is start from tommorow .
1 November Arknight CN - Texas alter event
2 November Arknight global - specter alter event
3 November Genshin impact 3.2 patch
Advice: if you put goldenglow 1st skill instead of click you can have the chance kill the Blood knight near the spawn
I use her at E2 Lv20 full trust
La pluma is a hard carry on this stage if you put her on the tile on the upper left of lava facing up. Also use her skill 2 to sweep those tanky enemies.
cleared this with mlynar taunt + kalt'sit cover on left while executor alter and mountain covered right side enemy spawn following your pattern
thanks Kyo
(edit) support unit goldenglow helped me big time aswell with her S3
7:14 KyoStinV casually roasting 95% of his viewers.
I might be one of the lazy people but to my defense I only look at how he progresses with his deployment and how he replies to certain threats. I have no coherent team and not many 6*. I average out on E1 lv 50 so until I have a decent roster I should be allowed to be lazy and conserve sanity.
I just installed the game 3 days ago, and i thought you were unactive forthe video guide spawn time, you have help a lot, i just copy some of the deployment style and try to understand the strategy behind
It's all fun and games until kyo decides to give you an existential crisis by questioning the meaning of always copying other people's strategies
Wow.... Exactly after I watch the AFK video about anni 13
You can replace the right hand defender with la pluma for extra aoe damage
7:30 yeah... imagine... haha...
Fiametta S3 is fun on this map. Lane hold? Who needs 'em! Just turn the lane into a no man's land with fire and brimstone.
7:13 why do you have to call me out like that bro 😭
If you have mudrock, replace cardigan with mudrock. No brainpower and you end up saving DP because she can just tank all the arrows and aggro without a thought
And what if my fun IS to copy you?
Thank you so much
Pls Kyo tell us with ur Italian language that "use our brain"
PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE COMMENTARY THINGY IN YOUR VIDEO KYO!
Many thanks!
I got to 325 using Mountain on right side and on left side with Kal and Thorns. Completely forgot the Bloodboil guys got stronger with more kills and that caused the whole thing to fail
*each attack
@@hijisfriend9030 Still failed cuz of those guys. Did some changes to the strat by Kyo but it worked out nearly the same. Had some close calls though
"SN. no.. SL. no.. NL!" its almost like their naming of stages is easy to confuse with another :p
Don't retreat the caster at the left. It be much easy dealing with the enemy caster and archer at the >350 mark.
Thank you kyo 🙂
i used combo of Lava the Purgatory (1skill) and Mostima (2nd skill)
thx for the guide kyo, really helpful
2 years not going back to KyostinV, FINALLY HE'S MALDING TO HIS SUBS LOOKING FOR STRAT TO COPY JEHEHEHEHE
MAN, THIS IS GOOD VIDEO INDEED
Congrats on your anime debut, doktah!
thank you
Replaced almost everyone.
Panutanku 😇
iyaaaaaaa....first time i got kyo meta and passed in single run.
My Meta(For Personal Trust Farm cuz Kyo Sensei Meta made me MAX TRUST LOW STARS ALREADY LOL):
Myrtle
Gravel
Pangkas Rambut Destreza
Mudrock S2(Bubble)
Blemishine S2(Gummy)
Meteorite S2(Gitano)
Ceylon S2(Gavial)
Honeyberry S2(Sussuro)
Leonhart S2(Lava)
Hung S2(Spot)
Goldenglow S2(Click)
Blitz S2(Cardigan)
NOTE:Swap Honeyberry with Ceylon. Bang Rusdi Destreza needs Ceylon bigger heal and Status Resistance, and she kinda overkill for heal since Blemi can heal her and Mudrock also)
you could use skyfire's S2 to bullied those nova knightclub trainees lol
