In a Battery 'C' rates are marked by charging and discharging rates of a battery capacity. The capacity of power a led-acid battery is commonly rated at 'C'. That means 'C10' rated a fully charged battery discharge capacity will be 10 Amps for one hour from the battery at normal temperature.

Tubular battery is a type of lead acid battery in which the positive electrode is not a grid, but a comb like lead skeleton that holds the positive material with the help of tubular bags. The structure looks like a series of tubes kept side by side along the length of the electrode, hence the name “tubular". Due to increased positive electrode surface area, tubular batteries have 20% more electrical capacity than flat plate batteries of comparable size and weight. With less positive plate shedding, tubular batteries
also provide up to a 30% longer service life than flat plate batteries.

Sir, your information is very correct. But two points i need more clarification. 1- tubular battery means it is used tubular technologies. Not a plate type. Battery having 6 sticks it is calling float. Secondly all battery is gst applicable 28% and inverter or ups gst applicable 18%. It means there is no considerations for solar battery for gst.

Dear brother your information regarding TUBULAR is not that you said. Tubular battery is due to increased positive plate surface area, tubular batteries have 20% more electrical capacity than flat plate batteries of comparable size and weight. With less positive plate shedding, tubular batteries also provide up to a 30% longer service life than flat plate batteries.
We call tubular, not because of glass tube water level indicator on top.
