When strawberries are sour I just tap it in sugar with each bite or mash strawberries with sugar. It’s always nice and honestly reminds me of childhood and home. I remember my mum really liked those sugary mashed strawberries and I thought she was weird 😂

Always be careful if you are making tanghulu in Canada because the sugar gets burned very easily and you already know that in Canada the houses are made of wood so if the sugar gets burned the fire alarm will go on just telling you guys 😊 so it's better to go out and buy the tanghulu😅

When I made tanghulu I threw the syrup but the bag melted so what I do with the extra syrup I squeeze blueberry’s on it then I keep mixing and it turns into homade edible crystals You and your kids should try it it’s delicious!
OMG that pink plastic plate with the eggs at the end is the exact same plate we have at home. We have a big set with a a bunch of different people and sayings on it. My grandparents used to bring them back home to us from France when they visited. I’ve never seen those plates anywhere else before.

Thanks i wanted to do the same thing with limes for a cheese cake but it just didn't get to my mind how to make sugared limes, how to take away it's sour taste and the weird texture of the peels😅 at least not for a long term because after 2-3 days the cheese cake behavioured like a sponge cause it sucked itself with caramel syrup😢
