I still cry when I see him in movies. He passed way too young. I'm happy his wife has now remarried, she deserves happiness for the rest of her life as well- how do you go on without the love of your life? She was worthy of his love, that's for sure. Beautiful.

Yes. Patrick was the personification of a Man's man. I have always taken offense to the charge (mainly from women) that all men are dogs/all men will cheat, and it's just not true. Patrick seemed like he was devoted to his wife, and he was very close to his dad, so I'm sure there's a correlation there somewhere. I grew up watching how devoted my dad was/is to my mom, and I have always kept that sense of loyalty to the woman I'm with. In any case, Patrick was just a genuine and good man, who died way too soon.
