Fantastic, fantastic change of structure and tone and cutting style to your review. Don't stop. Do this. Do it like this. Excellent. You made a choice and if will pay off.
Great structure for your review. As others have mentioned, providing more direct comparisons to other speakers at or just above its price point would make your review even better.
Hi Ron! Great sized speakers for smaller rooms like mine. Man that IOTAVX is a sharp looking unit. Paired up with those T20's they make very budget friendly system. A budget friendly system that performs! Have a great day man!
Ron, love your channel, I have learned more in two weeks watching your channel than I have in years!!!, can you possibly make a video on using bookshelf speakers due to room constraints and wanting/desiring that huge LaScala sound in your room?, or, can you fill a room with a bookshelf speaker the way a physically ultra large speaker can? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge to all of us, JD
Since you have been exposed to many floorstand speakers recently. I think it would be great if you kinda compare each other after a while. But given the list of all that has been to NRD it would be a very exhausting task. Hahahaha just throwing ideas out there.
This was a good review and why I watch you. Today after some modifications at the UK importers my £1000 = $1300 pre-amp was placed in a £60000+ = $78.500+ system, it did not sound out of place. A speaker driven by a very good amp will sound even better than when driven by an average amp use the best source and drive you can...
The short of it is I don’t think the overall voicing of the speaker changes all that much as you go up the ladder. Essentially you end up with the same voicing which isn’t a bad thing per se. tubes can get you a little more holographic imagery and probably a good direction to go if that’s what you crave. Hope this helps!
I'm actually more in upgrades the make grand piano sound more realistic. Sharper cleaner attack and tighter bass. The amp would be my next money drop.... if it would help.
Hi Ron I have a Question between this PSB and the Triangle BOREA BR08 what is better , a Cambridge audio axr100 will drive them. , what do you recommend me,? I am a music lover : Rock pop, Light Jazz and pop are my favorite kind of music ( Elton john, Billy joel, 80s , light prog etc..)
Amazing review as always is interesting to come across this video from you right now because I actually was thinking of getting a set of speakers and this actually fits right in my budget not to mention I want the IOTAVX I have a question I wonder they don’t have the SA3 in stock at the moment If I went with the PA3 Can you recommend a deck or a preamp that I can use with it and I was also wondering can I use a iPad or iPhone even though I know it’s not ideal to stream music through what do you think of this I would appreciate your advice and help
PSB Speakers at one time used NAD Amps when voicing their speakers. Don't know if that is still the situation, a little research on the internet might give you some answers.
Hey, thanks for measurements. If it's crappy tweeter nothing will make them sound good, no voodoo magic can help them (fighting with some cheap fabric dome Seas here). That's quite a 'boost' at x-over. Too bad you didn't 'take' them down lower in level, as I would like to see how the slopes look like. Maybe Paul gives a little boost to counter act drop in power response around the crossover if it's something of a LR4 variety, thought in most commercial spkrs pure text book x-overs are rare.
Excellent, very excellent. Paul could tame hid range ringing with more cabinet bracing - add $40 to the final retail price....worth it as the package is already good at this price range. GR research can flatten that frequency response for the hard core with a few tweaks to the crossover. Now on to the X2T and Paradigm Monitor SE 6000F.
@@Newrecordday2013 I think your UA-cam algorithm is buggy. I have to go to your channel to see your new videos. Way back when whenever you released a new video it would show up in my favorite subject tab e.g. home audio , electronics etc. Not so much now.
I have zero interest in this kind of speaker -- I'm waiting for my Tekton Moabs to arrive. However, DAMN GOOD REVIEW! I like this style of review! The way you did the off axis measurements are helpful as well. If I needed a pair of speakers and wasn't also in the market for accompanying upstream gear anytime soon, I'd be interested in these.

Just put in more b-roll of the product itself. In studio and in situ. Will help.

I love this channel!!! So detail review & the commentary was amazing!
Hey Thanks!
Hi Ron, Love the new production value and review structure!!
Thanks!
Very Nice review thanks. I,m waiting for my pair of PSB Imagine x2t to be shipped to me! can,t Wait.
PSB speakers are underrated. But they always give a good to excellent sound quality for the money you pay for Them.
LOVED this review! So entertaining and great visuals! Plenty of juicy meat 'info' here with no fluff
Out standing review keep up the great reviews
VERY clean review! Love it! Would love some comparisons or alternative options within the price range...
Great review, as always!

Interesting video style! I like changes every now and then. Thank you for the review. Cool glasses by the way!

Love the mix of subjective opinions and having some data to relate it too. Easy to get caught up in just data.

Do tell us about your pre!
How does dees compare against the triangles that you reviews? can't make my mind up which ones should I buy?
Would love a review on PSB X2T towers
Great Review. Always interested in good speakers at a valued price. Thanks.
It does make sense to talk about better amplifiers; I am probably not the only one that will be climbing the audiophile upgrade ladder.

Great horizontal dispersion but I'd want to be as close to the vertical tweeter axis as possible.
Affordable. Such an enticingly innocuous word, yet elusively amorphous label that never fails to flummox.
Thanks Ron. Add those to the growing list of capable speakers at 'affordable' prices. :)
Ron, what is the music playing in the background? Definitely my style and would be plating through the T-20's.
First !thanks Ron ! IOTAVX-STACK and just SA3 so 🎼 lol
Speakers look great for the price!
nice review
Hey thanks!
this will beat any klipsch floorstands anyday in terms of sound quality, not in volume output but sound quality

Hi there - Would these be a good pair to partner the NAD Hybrid D3020.

I own xt2. It’s really good.
Hey Ron I have the Alpha P5's you want to borrow them? I could meet up with ya if you want to borrow'em.
Where are you located?
@@Newrecordday2013 located in Chandler sent you a couple emails from Vanguard Audio email me there!
Are you going to do a tear down video Ron?
I tried - there are no screws to be found on this thing!
I own these and I agree, I would say seems more of a 6 ohm or below.
Would you recommend these over klipsch?
Does big sounding here mean that you consider them suitable for a big room?
Nevermind, I just read at 7review that these speakers are suited for small to medium spaces.
I want Big Speakers that sound really fucking Big.
Stumbled across this video. Your channel was one of my favorites. What happened?
What happened to what?

Hang on that aren't open baffle. I've been lied too 😤
Open baffle reviews coming in August...
Nah... A little extra and get a Q Acoustics 3050i
To hear a chesty male vocal is rare in any speaker..
