I keep a folder of the manuals for items we have. My favorite or place I organize an that makes me the happiest is when I get the horse barn cleaned an organized. We’ve been building moving an excavating for the last year so it’s a slow process. Every little bit I can tackle is rewarding.
Yup I learned that from my mom. The best way to clean a space is to first empty the space. If there was a lot of junk, and clutter on the floor of any room she was cleaning, she would just sweep everything out. It's like instant gratification! Then she would put the good things where they belong, and discard the junk.
And cleaning top to bottom, always starting with dusting and finishing with vacuuming/mopping. Moms really do know best most of the time!

To answer your question about what do to with instruction manuals, I keep them in a file folder and review about once a year to throw out any belonging to items we got rid of or if selling that item, I’ll make sure I give the buyer the manual. Hope this helps! 😊
Briana, I have to tell you how much I love the way you have down sized your living and show us that less is more an we can live a much happier life without all the "stuff" we THINK we need. What we ALL need is the Lord, and not all these material things that weigh us down. Thank you, you are an inspiration!
Manuals- depends on your space and your personality. They now have most manuals online so check to make sure and then toss. I have put them in a binder and put that in the same closet with all our random chords.
we save the hard plastic bags that zip up(like sheets would come in)and keep one in each room manual and tool that goes to something goes into the bag in that room and it gets gone through twice a year to see if anything was gotten rid of
I usually wait til the end to clean ! It's the best for me plus you get the benefits as well 😉💯❤

I think the place I like watch get organized the most are drawers. I feel like since they aren't seen, it's so easy to chuck things inside- but once they are set up so everything has a space it is so peaceful. ha ha.
Just a suggestion about the manuals - you can find electronic versions of the manuals online when you need them, thus cutting down on clutter 🥰 love your content and your new home.
Or locate the manual online, and save a PDF copy to your computer for quick reference.
Keep all manuel’s in one drawer. Group hardware in baggies and write what it goes to and all in a plastic bin.

You should store the extras in your garage or any space you feel comfortable keeping them, they might come in handy
I love ironing. It’s so satisfying seeing all my washing freshly washed and stacked neatly into piles after ironing the creases out… especially freshly washed sheets, ironed and crease free.

For manuals I just keep a document on my computer of every thing with the serial number model number and a scanned copy of the receipt. Manuals are all online now so you don’t need to keep them. Then If you ever need the information for insurance or robbery, you have all the information.

I saved them all in a Large ziplock, so when I pass the baby item on (swing,…) I could send the manual with it. Obviously some are not worth saving.:)

Loved the organizing in this video! 😍so motivating and the transformation of Hayden’s closet is so satisfying! For extra parts and manual organization: I have an accordion organizer for the manuals and extra hardware bits are put in ziplock bags and labeled for what they go to and kept with our other tools in a designated basket. Very helpful for things that grow with your kids or that need adjusting later. Or even for resale it’s helpful to have all the extra hardware.

I need the organization skills. I’m not naturally good at it. I actually have a service coming twice a month to clean but they make little piles for me to put things away and I’m trying to purge or get things into the right spot. It’s a struggle sometimes. I love adding small shelves!
Yes; toss the manuals! The Kon Mari method gave me the freedom to do so. I always think now how of we really needed the info, we could google the company and get a digital copy from the website or customer service!

I found some zipper bags that fit in my file drawer. I put all the manuals in those br category. For example large appliances, phones, repairs, lawn care, irrigation,and property maintenance insurance, roof etc. However it makes sense. Since they are clear, no label is required, and they are easy to find
This was so motivating I've slowly been organizing around my house it feels good that every thing has a place and every one knows were every thing is and goes , I love the products you showed my favorite is the headband that have a whole for ponytail , I store my extra tool and parts in zip lock baggies I write on them what they are fore and for my manuals I store them I a binder with the plastic sleeves easy to get to and they don't get messed up if I have to take some thing apart and put back together

Our house is also on the small side (just over 100m2… we live in Sydney, Australia) and we decided to build a studio in the garden with a bedroom and a bathroom to have space for my family when they visit (I am French). We keep all the Manual’s for things we have in our house or are still using in a folder in the file cabinet, If and when the item gets sold or given we have the manual for it. Everything looks great. Yes I do make all beds in the morning before I even get dressed..
Hi Brianna! I put the manuals and Warrantees in a plastic bin and I label 🏷 it. I register and/or warranty the product and then put them in a plastic container. Hope this helps!

We have a cupboard in the kitchen with a box and all of the manuals go in there , those extra allen wrenches go in a draw in my desk so I can find them.

I have a box of manuals and a box of screws and tools. Something I wish I didn’t think I need to keep.
I toss all my Manuals after years of keeping as you can look them up online now if needed 🥰🥰 we do keep extra tools and hardware though!
