Very helpful to see the process of finding the right balance of water with these paints, thanks!

Lovely artwork. I would like to ask you a few questions.
First, how long does it take for the acrylic gouache dry on the palette?
Secondly, how long does it take for it to dry on a painting?
Thirdly, can it be used on a large sized painting???
    Thanks you

Hi Maria! Each acrylic gouache may take slightly different time to dry to touch (can also depend on if it is cold or hot in your room). In my experience it is almost as fast as acrylics - so under 15-20 min on painting, on palette can be a little longer if you regularly spraying with water and because it is usually a blob - thicker application stays wet longer. Once dry on painting, they do lift up a bit with water but not nearly as regular gouache and it won't really help fixing any mistakes. I would squeeze just a bit of paint. Absolutely can be used on large scale paintings, just maybe not the sets as they only have small tubes! Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions!

Hey! I’d be lovely if you could help me, I was wondering if these are safe on air dry clay? Have you tried that medium? I haven’t found any info on that and I’ve loved this set

Hi there! I have not worked with clay! However, to my knowledge you can use acrylics pretty much on anything, and they are often a choice for air dry clay. Which, to me, would mean by extension, that acrylic gouache may work as it uses acrylic binder, same as acrylic paint. I've seen someone also recommended tempera for air dry clay, both tempera and gouache are water-based. Does that make sense? I would NOT use probably regular gouache but acrylic gouache should work. And you can seal the surface afterwards! Acrylic gouache dries like acrylics - to non reworkable finish.
