Honestly I don't get on well with wrapping more than a few inches with square wire or half round, it has a habit of twisting on me. I try to create pieces on this channel which are achievable for all xxx
@@JemHawkes thank you, I don't have access to square wire in my country at all, I only have round wire, and to order it from sites like Rio grande is just too much expensive, to be honest, so I was looking for something accessible, as I am quite interested in making heady pieces for myself, so really thank you for these tutorials
Thanks Jem. I'm enjoying this series. Only watching at this time, but learning as we go.....lol. Life is a tad busy right now. I have a lovely project to look forward to ☺️. Really like your spider necklace. My daughter and great granddaughter would love it 💗.
Has anyone else noticed the lady inside the gemstone? I can see her head, slightly tilted and looking down to the left; her hands and it looks like she is wearing a gold necklace. Not the stone you are wrapping, but the example you have already made. Fabulous tutorial!
Really like this series of videos! I also notice that you are the only wire worker I follow that talks about heating up the copper as you use it to make it a bit more pliable...an excellent tip! I have very few cabochons, mainly just bead of all sizes..with holes..and I have a lot of them lol. Any tips using those?
Thank you so very much for the wonderful feedback. There's a video tutorial for a drilled coin bead from a few months ago that could easily be sized down for round beads and there will DEFINITELY be more to come. Thank you very much for watching xxx
As always, your tutorial is awesome. IDEA that you may want to consider for a future training video; Adjustable rings have become a nice seller for me. I would love to see your take on a bi-pass ring. 😍
Thanks for watching. My channel setting snake ring project is fully adjustable but I hear you, alongside my vortex ring, the simple double coil bypass ring is always a big seller xxx
Thanks Jem!! Another really great tutorial - couple of quick questions - would you make any adjustments for a particularly deep cabochon?? Also, would a version of this work for irregular shapes (like raw crystals) or would you recommend a different approach?? Looking forward to the next instalment! Thanks!! x
This is suited to slimmer cabs and you would need a different fashion to hold raw crystals and points. For deeper cabs probably creating a little nest in the base would work best xxx
Excellent! Looking forward to the next segment.
Thank you very much for watching xxx
I can tell this way of wrapping is going to be very useful..I'm. off to try it!
Hope you enjoy the process, the possibilities are endless xxx
finally a channel about heady wrapped pendants with a round wire, thank you

Love it! Can we see the back of your heady piece?
I'll turn the pendant and show the backs in the 5th video to demonstrate how they can be completed xxx
Is there a tutorial for the spider? Love it!
Thank you Anne, the spider tutorial can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/-gOCF0URMSQ/v-deo.html
