I watched & listened to this song 8 consecutive times. It has always been one of my favorite Luther Vandross songs....It is legendary & so emotional... I loved my father dearly my entire life & miss him from the depth of my soul...I've never been whole since his passing. Yet, I continue to strive to make him proud of me... Thank you Richard for continuing to sing this masterpiece written by you & Luther...Thank you Tamron for having him on...Blessings. 💖

One of my favourite songs of all time. So very beautiful. And also special to me as I lost my father under tragic circumstances at the end of 2005. And although there was nothing really left unsaid between us, I so very much would have wished to hug him once more, talk to him and so on. So this is also my song. Deep in my heart forever.
This will be my first Father's Day without my dad. He passed away on March 1, 2023. He and my mom were married for 67 1/2 years and he was an amazing man. I've only cried twice for him since he passed. Listening to this song is time #2.

I’m divorced and my grown son met his father 10years ago. My biological father passed away 2 years ago. When I accepted Christ 25 years ago. He became my Daddy

It is nice but he can’t match the Beautiful 4:21 soul and his heart. Luther was a one of a kind. There will never be another person like him. I loved Luther and he was the music. His voice was so beautiful that it made you cry. I will never forget him. RIP Luther I miss you every day. ❤😢
